APPLICATION SW LOADING AND OPERATING PROCEDURE TO SANDS

Note: For files to be loaded, Please refer “Read Me.txt”.

SANDS CMRI MODEL: DMRI 1010

Loading Procedure:
H/W Connections:
→ Connect the “RS232” Serial cable (cross) provided by SANDS from PC to DMRI (COM1).
DMRI PREPARATION:
→ Switch 'ON' DMRI and wait for b drive (B:\>) to prompt.
→ Type 'WS' and press “ENTER” key, which leads to run the Application for Import/Export of files.
Now, DMRI is in waiting mode to send/receive the files.

PC SIDE PREPARATION:
Note: Before loading sw in DMRI 1010, keep this entire folder on C:\ (C drive) of PC. Run the WinMAS1.1.EXE to
load files. Then the following screen appears as shown below.
Edit the serialno.txt file provided, with the respective DMRI serial number and save.

→ Select the PC's communication Port and click the “OPEN PORT” button to open the serial
communication port.

→ Click the “EXPORT” button to select the required files to load into DMRI. When “EXPORT”
button clicked, then file open dialogue appears as follows.

→ Select the files from copied folder on C:\ (C drive) of PC to load in to DMRI by holding the 'Ctrl'
key. Then, click “Open”, which leads to the following screen.

→ Click 'OK' button, which proceeds to load selected files into DMRI. During exporting, file name,
path and no. of file displayed as follows.

→ After completion of loading, following message will be displayed.

Click 'OK' and close PC WinMAS application.


→ Now, press 'ESC' key in DMRI, which leads to prompt B drive (B:\>).
→ Type “EX” on B drive (B:\>), then required files will be copied to the respective folder.
→ Now, type the “VDLMS”, then application software will run in DMRI.
→ Exit from the software, then cursor will prompt on “B” drive. Type the “DL”, then unnecessary files
will be deleted.
→ Now, type the “VDLMS”, then application software will run in DMRI.
→ Now, DMRI is ready to use.

CMRI S.No. & Other Files Loading Procedure USING ATMFILER SW


TO ANALOGIC CMRI

ANALOGIC CMRI MODEL: PCL1100SR(u)

1. In the displayed meter manufacturer menu, choose “FILER” option to load the CMRI Serial
Number.
2. Use “COM2” & “PC to CMRI” option in CMRI.
3. Edit the serialno.txt file provided, with respective CMRI serial number and save.
4. Use the Windows based ATMFILER PC Software to load the serialno.txt file in “B” (b:\) drive of
CMRI along with all other files included in this folder (except this file). If, ATMFILER PC SW not
available, please check the VISIONTEK PLM software build: SB-0000745 for software along with
operating instructions for file transfer (PC-CMRI-PC) and also load all the files included in this folder
for CMRI Application software.
5. After loading serialno.txt file along with other included files (except this file), exit from FILER SW
in CMRI & also exit from the manufacturers menu. Then, cursor will prompt on “B” drive.
6. Type the instruction on “B” drive (b:\): “EX”, then required files will be copied to the respective
folder on “B” drive (b:\).
7. Now, type the “VDLMS” on “B” drive (b:\), then application software will run in CMRI.
8. Exit from the software, then cursor will prompt on “B” drive. Type the instruction on “B” drive (b:\):
“DL”, then unnecessary files will be deleted.
9. Now, type the “VDLMS” on “B” drive (b:\), then application software will run in CMRI.
10. Now, CMRI is ready to use.

If CMRI S.No. Need to show on CMRI display, copy the file to “A” drive with
following instructions:
1. Type the instruction on “B” drive (b:\): “copy serialno.txt a:\” and press enter.
2. If file copy successful, proper message will be displayed otherwise drive write protect message will
be displayed. If drive write protect message displayed, S.No. Showing on CMRI display not possible
without Erasing and re-loading the software on flash(drive: a:\)
3. Now, restart the unit and observe the CMRI S.No.(if file copied successfully) on welcome screen of
ANALOGIC, which is followed by manufacturers menu.
4. Now, CMRI is ready to use.
