Med-e-Rep is a home grown CRM application designed and developed on the Cloud (SaaS)
platform using the Salesforce.com tool. The application (in its version 1.0 form) is developed to
sustain the GSK Detailing needs across markets span in many countries.
The basic aim of the Med-e-Rep application is to help the dental detailing sales team to plan their
customer calls/visits and manage the inventory transactions regarding to the samples. It also
helps the business leaders to generate and view reports of sales representatives’ performance and
sales data.

Event Management System: The results of an internal audit in China were for the need to
improve the governance around the approval and management of Events activities in the China
site.
Hence, the China affiliate wishes to provide a process to apply for and workflow the approval to
attend or host an event activity. Included in the application is to be the planned costs and
planning details associated with the proposed activity. The solution will enable the planned costs
and information regarding the activity to be reviewed and approved by management of various
levels.
Once an event is approved the solution will trigger actions and provide core data to various
departments to operationally manage the event and attach actual expenditure over the life of the
event. Post event a list of confirmed attendees will be output to enable feedback from the event
attendees. Post event the ability to attach any required proof of event documentation and make
comment if the event is found to exceed the planned cost via reporting.

recognized for authority, integrity and accuracy. FT provides a broad range of essential
services to the growing audience of internationally minded business people.
Post the discussions with the FT; Msat understands the need for Force.com implementation
for the Online Employee Appraisal System. It is proposed to implement a new Force.com
application to evaluate the employees throughout the appraisal cycles. FT also wants to
archive the historical data and utilize it for effective and elegant reviews.
The product proposed is mainly driven by record types and approval process. The product
involves no customization. All the requirements were achieved through configuration only.

Project Description:
GE O&G has decided to move on from the existing CMS, the current CRM application
implemented in Siebel to a new technology stack for CRM [Salesforce.com] in order to
satisfy the emerging business requirements. So this project is to synchronize data from
internal GE systems with the SaaS CRM platform [Salesforce.com].
The Project constitutes of three P&L’s which are Global Services, Turbo Machinery and PII.
The project deals with the Object Design and functioning of different P&L’s. The Project
mainly deals with the Opportunity management and all the Other Standard and Custom
Objects that are linked to this Opportunity. The first phase of the Project is mainly on the
‘Global Services’ where the Opportunity goes through a Risk Management Process for
Approval/Rejection.

and Quote generation. The primary business goal is to continue to provide services on new
platform without disruption of current commercial process. GE has different Product lines .
