    A Vaccine Just Once Will Keep the Virus Away

    The continuing rise of Covid 19 patients all around the world has made everyone in a fright so as
    a solution various countries have tried creating different vaccines that all have the same purpose,
    prevention and protection. To ensure the protection of your loved ones, you must partake on getting
    vaccinated against Covid 19 regardless of your age, race, ethnicity etc.
    As of April 06 2021, more than 50,685 citizens of the Philippines have been fully vaccinated
    against the virus and about 872 thousands have been given at least a single dose. Mostly all vaccinated
    citizens showed no signs of Covid19 symptoms or lessened the major effects it gives a patient or an
    individual.
    The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued emergency use authorizations of various
    vaccines, among those were Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinovac and, Sputnik V which all showed more than
    50% of the efficacy rate needed for a vaccine to be labelled as effective against the Covid 19 virus. Other
    countries like the U.S, and the U.K. has been using these vaccines for their widely vaccination where
    about 10-20% of the citizens of the whole country has been vaccinated.
    Mild to moderate side effects of getting Covid 19 vaccines have surface among those who got
    vaccinated ranging from fever, feeling of weakness or fatigue, headache, dizziness, diarrhea, or nausea
    while some side effect are more alarming. About 17 countries have suspended the vaccination of
    AstraZeneca vaccines due to unusual side effects including blood clotting which resulted to death of 49-
    year-old Austrian woman after getting shot with the previously mentioned vaccine.
    Although the side effects of Covid 19 vaccines are quite alarming, whether it’s mild or moderate,
    authorities have proven that all vaccines are safe and effective wherein the side effects experienced by an
    individual is different depending on how their immune system takes the vaccine. Nevertheless proper
    control of virus should be implemented and in doing so, vaccination should be one of the priority officials
    should execute as instructed by the government, “Prevention is better than Cure”.

    In the Middle of a crisis, the pandemic response of officials and authorities as well as the citizens play a
    big role in preventing the growth of virus amongst other group of individuals and one of those is contract
    tracing which is the one main implementation of frontliners to prevent furthermore contact of a patient to
    another causing a chain reaction that triggers the growth of most numbers of active cases. Contract tracing
    of any individual in contact to a Covid 19 Patient must be done as accurate and as fast as possible to
    prevent the spreading of the virus amongst everyone.
