Tips to crack Test and Interview
● Keep practicing. Don’t stop.
● Stand apart in terms of CV. Add figures.
○ Let JEE not be the only highlight!
○ Build good projects - Ones you can be proud of. Ones that made you learn new (and
challenging) tools, concepts, etc.
● For interview:
○ Try to discuss about your thought process
○ Seek help politely and do not remain struck
○ What are your weaknesses and how you came out of it Have real-life examples - Ready!
(but please don’t act - they can easily catch
○ What are your strengths you!!)
○ Be ready with questions for them.( Ask about the company to let them know you are interested
- a major factor!)
● Have mock interviews with your friends (especially help those who face some problems
in taking personal interviews).
Additional tips
● Think this is JEE 2.0 - Prepare with that rigour itself!
● Participate in coding contests (full roadmap here); Upsolve the questions you couldn’t do
● Contribute on GitHub (the modern resume!)
● Check for opportunities on LinkedIn (but also read the last point)
● Try gaining experience whenever possible (remain proactive… that’s what an employer wants!)
● Be familiar with all the platforms like HackerRank, Interview Bit, CodeForces. Practice questions on
all !!
● Don’t panic. It's never too late to start. Focus on a company and practice accordingly.
● Know your resume thoroughly. (All the concepts used in detail)
● Questions would be easy. Trick is to give most space and time efficient code.
● DO NOT APPLY OFF-CAMPUS IF THE COMPANY IS COMING TO
THE CAMPUS.
