Administrative Duties

Goal 1: Teacher will perform administrative duties

Objective 1: Teacher will discuss the curricular goals, learning objectives, strategies and
methods to the EAL Level 1’s school team such as the principal, classroom teacher, education
assistant, speech-language pathologist, learning assistance teacher, etc.
● Strategy 1: write an EAL Year-at-a-Glance table to indicate the plans for the year using
MS Word and emailing this to the rest of the team
● Strategy 2: meet at the beginning of each term to discuss student’s current level,
progress and updates

Objective 2: Teacher will need to administer district-approved assessment for the EAL level 1
students
● Strategy 1: gather all necessary technology tools needed for the activity, such as laptops
and iPads
● Strategy 2: ensure that all technology tools are available and working
● Strategy 3: meet with the EAL team to discuss logistics of administering the
assessments
● Strategy 4: input the assessment scores on the online e-forms

Objective 3: Teacher will need to submit EAL grades based on student progress for the term.
