Supply chain management is vital for any manufacturing organization. because of globalization,
customers now a days have information of products and services. It will have lots of strategic
implication within the company which will help the company run better. Supply chain
management periods all program and delivery of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and
finished goods from point of foundation to point of consumption. As organizations attempt to
focus on essential competencies and enticing more flexible, they decrease their ownership of raw
materials springs and distribution channels. These roles are slowly being authorized to other
entities that can execute the activities better or more cost efficiently. Fewer control and more
supply chain partners led to the formation of supply chain management concepts. The resolution
of supply chain management is to recover trust and teamwork among supply chain partners, thus

The aim of this project an area in this case which is supply chain management to view its
strategic implication in the organization. Main aim of SCM is to progress the general
performance of the entire system for the supply-chain. Nevertheless each factory, distribution
Centre and extra rudiments of supply-chain working at the best levels, the supply-chain as a full
may function sub-optimally. All the elements of supply-chain have their own short-term and
long-term objectives. Their functioning choices are based on these objectives. It is very
communal that the decisions of the residents may not be allied to the general strategic goal for
the total supply chain. Meanwhile the stake for the dissimilar players is very high making it
commanding for the partners- suppliers, manufacturers and customers act as if they are part of
the similar company. Thus option of supply chain management is enormous. The main limitation
of this project is that the confidentiality of data. Most of the data were collected from secondary
source. Therefore the authentication of those sources cannot be confirmed. Another issue was
time constarint. Primary sources might have personal influence. Besides, for the organization,
due to the many players and complexity of supply chains, a problem in one link can have

progressively negative effects on the chain as a whole. There will be at least an insignificant
delay in production, idle resources or additional costs experienced from any of the probable
responses of waiting on the supplier, ruling a new supplier or shifting the distribution of

SCM's wide-ranging objective is to abridged costs by addressing four key objectives. If all
supply chain links know their precise task, the production measures become easier. This
management allows a firm to have better force in the market. Harmonization also permits firms

endorse better coordination. Detriment the customer, the good or service will halt at the point of
sale. A firm must understand what its buyer wants, believes and raises in order to in-depth the
supply chain's last steps. The main determinations of Supply chain management are to improve
the general organization performance and customer satisfaction by purifying product or service

standard of living. SCM effects customer service by making sure the right product mixture and
quantity are delivered in a timely fashion. Furthermore, those products must be available in the
location that customers presume. Customers should also get quality after-sale customer support.
SCM has a wonderful impact on the bottom line. Organization’s values supply chain managers
because they weakening the use of large fixed assets such as plants, warehouses and transport
automobiles in the supply chain. Also, cash flow is augmented because if delivery of the product
