COURSE The course discusses the concepts, importance and barriers of social work documentation that guides the student with the different ethics
DESCRIPTION and standards that promote the protection of confidentiality. The course also provide an enhance access to the new software’s that can
strengthen their documentation skills. This course is not only focused on different necessary technical writing guidelines but also
preliminary procedures from the different significant documents in casework, groupwork and community organizing.

The BSSW curriculum adheres to the global standards for social work education and training but particularizes in contextualized and indigenous
nature of social work practice. The following are based on the global standards but give special reference to the Philippine context:

K. LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Classroom – The teaching-learning environment must be as contained in the policies, standards, and guidelines of CHED.
LMS UDMoodle – An online platform provided by the University where students have access to different online modules and activities.
Independent Study – Use of learner’s time spent outside of the classroom for self-directed learning using available resources (actual and online resources)
equivalent to at least 20% of the total hours credited for the course.
Virtual Classroom – A virtual learning environment that will use google meet platform as synchronous class session
o Creation of safe online environment where respect and acceptance is presence
o Students will be given the venue to express themselves in an open forum and peer support will be encourage
o Interactive learning will be provided between: students to students; teacher to students; students and course content
o Flexibility learning will be allowed
