1. Components
The components contained in the kit (TOO-KIT-FOUT) are:
• TOO-BOX-FOUT (F-OUT Control Unit)
• CAB-TOO-FOUT (F-OUT Communication Cable)
• POW-SUP-FOUT (Power Supply)
• CNT-PHO-02F/P762, CNT-PHO-12F/P508 (F-OUT Output Connectors)
The following picture shows the components of the kit:
TOO-KIT-FOUT
F-OUT dimensions and weight:
• Length = 277.5 mm–10.93 in; Width = 134.5 mm–5.3 in; Depth = 49 mm–1.93 in
• Weight = 1,75 Kg – 3.86 lbs
CAB-TOO-FOUT:
• Length = 3 mt - 9.84 ft
Power supply specification:
• Input = 90-264 VAC; Output = 24 VDC 1.66 A
For installations involving BES Scoring System an ET-HOST Unit is required.
When shipped, F-OUT comes with the CAB-TOO-FOUT cable connected and the connectors
mounted.
The F-OUT board part number is: TOO-BOA-FOUT.

2. Requirements
The proper electrical installation of the F-OUT Unit, for a high voltage environment (lamps, devices,
etc…), requires that the customer arranges in advance a subpanel, containing:
- relays, used to connect the F-OUT outputs to the lamps.
- appropriate power supply, able to drive the subpanel relays.
For more details about the subpanel, please refer to chapter 3.6.
Note:
The maximum number of F-OUT Units allowed to operate with Conqueror Pro is 12.
Each power supply (POW-SUP-FOUT) can drive up to 2 F-OUT Units.

3. Hardware Setup
Suggested location:
Near the Front Desk. The distance between the F-OUT Unit and the ET-HOST cannot exceed 3 mt.
Alternative location (only with BES):
Near the billiard lights (or other time games) electrical distribution subpanel.
3.1 Power Supply
The POW-SUP-FOUT supplies power to the F-OUT Unit (Fig. 1).
Each POW-SUP-FOUT can drive up to 2 F-OUT Units.

3.2 ET-HOST Connection
Use the CAB-TOO-FOUT cable supplied in the TOO-KIT-FOUT (see Fig. 2) to arrange the connection
between the ET-HOST and the first F-OUT.
Note: The maximum allowed distance between the ET-HOST and the first F-OUT is 3 mt - 9.84 ft.
The CAB-TOO-FOUT cable includes a resistor (150 Ohm, 1/4 W), between pins 7 and 8 of the J5
connector, to terminate the communication line.
The wirings for the J5 connector are shown in Tab. 1.

3.3 F-OUT Connection
The same cable (CAB-TOO-FOUT) supplied with each TOO-KIT-FOUT Unit must be used to arrange
the connection between adjacent F-OUT Units in a chain.
The following steps are required to connect each F-OUT to the previous:
1) Cut the cable CAB-TOO-FOUT to remove the DB9 plug. Separate and skin the wires.
2) Connect the ‘A’,’B’,’C’ wires to the pins ‘7’,’8’,’9’ respectively of the J5 connector of the previous
F-OUT, as shown in Fig. 3. The wirings for the J5 connector are shown in Tab. 1.
3) Move the aforementioned resistor (150 Ohm, 1/4 W) to the last F-OUT unit.

3.4 F-OUT Addressing
In installations/setups involving multiple F-OUT Units, it is necessary to assign unique addresses to
each Unit in the chain.
Perform the proper address configuration by taking the 24VDC, coming from the power supply
(POW-SUP-FOUT), into one (or more) couple of the CONFIG. input pins (IN 1- IN 4).
