COURSE TITLE: NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM (CWTS)
First Semester Academic Year 2021-2222

OBJECTIVES
1. To provide accessible educational opportunities through courses designed to meet the students’ needs and the community
2. To provide a faculty dedicated to teaching excellence and the concept that interaction between student and instructor, is of foremost important.
3. To provide service in career transfer and continuing education areas, as need arise.
4. To seek and instill in each student the ability to think clearly and critically, and assess and reconcile concerns he faces.
5. To provide counselling and academic advice and various others need to assist students in developing a healthful self-concept and becoming a full functioning individual.
6. To provide social, cultural, and recreational opportunities, and to make the facilities and service of College available to entire community.
7. To seize every opportunity through courses, service counselling and activities to help every student to develop a guiding set of personal values standards and behavioral
criteria.
8. To develop and appreciation of social force that comes into play in the historical and cultural milieu and of one’s role as a productive citizen and as an agent.
9. To develop climate, encourage the continuous examination, improvement and implementation of College program and the service together with the instructional processes
and practices designed to further them.
10. To promote in every way possible atmosphere of cooperation, partnership, and trust among faculty, students, administration and Broads of trustees in implementing the

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course aims to build nationalism and strong patriotism among students; develop their skills and moral values to respect the Motherland and
fellow countrymen; to be civic mindful to the welfare of the his or her community where he/she lives; to become a law-abiding citizen and contribute in spreading the education by
combating the illiteracy by sharing the education he acquired from this institution to his fellowmen.

At the end of course, students are expected to:


 To establish an NSTP framework anchored to the institution’s values of honor and excellence in the service of the people
 To instill civic consciousness and defense preparedness among the students, developing an understanding of the vital role of the youth in public service and nation
building
 To impart basic competencies required in the conduct of the NSTP component courses (CWTS, LTS and ROTC) and NSRC or Citizen Armed Force
