Nack’s Pizza

The name of our pizza shop is Nack’s Pizza where we offer the customer with a variety of
flavors and recipes of pizza. We brought up an idea about what will be the name of our pizza
shop and thus we come up with the name “Nack’s Pizza”, as it like another term for “snack”,
with the letter “s” in the end of the word. Also, we thought that this name will be easily
recognize by other people, because it is based as a form of expression.

I. Executive Summary

 Business Description

Nack’s Pizza is a family-friendly pizza offering variety of flavors and new recipes. We also
provide refreshments that will quench your thirsts.

 Logo Description

The meaning behind our pizzeria logo is simple as it is. A logo includes a pizza, which is the
main product we offer to the customers and atop from that is the drinks and refreshments, then it
also has spoon and fork representing that we also have dine-in accommodation for the customers
aside form delivery through their homes. Lastly, is the background of our logo in color pink,
which represents friendship, affection and approachable, which truly match our goals in serving
our customers the utmost care and service we can offer to satisfy their needs.

 Company Description
The employees of this pizza shop play an important role in running this business. Also, the
manager always ensures the shop to run properly at all times to prevent any unnecessary issues
and to offer the customer a high-quality customer service as a thanks in visiting in our pizza
shop.

*Mission Statement: “To offer delicious pizza recipes and refreshments to all people in
different ages to make them smile and be always be happy”.

*Vision Statement: “To have our food be known and popular that will bring customers in the
long running of the pizza industry in the future”.

 Target Market

The target market of Nack’s Pizza is for individuals who wants to have a good food and for
families who are looking for a place to have an enjoyment and a bonding time with each other. In
generality, Pizzeria is an open pizza shop for all people in different ages who wants to have a
taste of classic pizza to fill their tummies.

 Products and Service Line

The Nack’s Pizza offers a wide-range of pizza recipe in a customer-friendly price. Each slice of
pizza costs ₱20 (depending on the flavor of pizza) and the family-size pizza starts at ₱100
(depending on the flavor pizza).

II. Opportunity

 Problem Worth Solving

The main problem Nack’s Pizza has to overcome is to gain the trust of the customers. Some
of the issues needed to be addressed is the location of the pizzeria, as the location of Nack’s
Pizza is beside a mall with popular restaurant outlets and food stalls. The small building is
one of the matters that affect why some customers are unable to try and taste our product.

 Our Solution

In running business in any different sectors, problems and issues are always present and still
continue to arise even though you overcome it. With the problem mentioned about the
competition between the other popular restaurants and food stalls beside the pizzeria that
results to loss of customer, Nack’s Pizza always update their customers about the new offers
and promos in which they can enjoy. Also, with the help of showing good customer service,
we may be able to attract more customer in coming in our pizzeria.

 Validation of Problem and Solution

The possible problems and solution that may arise that were mentioned above are compatible
and useful in the business we run, specially about shops and stalls which are new and still
stating to create name for themselves. The weakness of the shop can be solved by using the
ideas and imagination by turning it to our strength towards other shops and stalls.

 Roadmap/Future Plans

The future of the business is still unpredictable as one problem is solved, another problem
may arise regarding the business that is running. In the business we have, a pizzeria named
Nack’s Pizza is not that popular compared to other pizza shop as we are still building our
reputation and trust of our customers. We believe that the step we must take must be slowly
but surely, we will get to our target goal. One of the plans we have proposed is the expanding
territory of our business by making a branch shop to create more profit and for the new
customers may know about us.

The goal and objective of Nack’s Pizza is to serve and offer good pizza recipes in different
places through high-quality customer service in various serving methods, such as dine-in, take-
out and delivery of goods.

Nack’s Pizza is a pizzeria that focuses on possible customers who wants to experience good
accommodation and service by our shop. Specifically, the shop uses the Demographic
segmentation to give attention to the profile of the future customers. As pizza shop is not just
popular to children, it is also loved to people in different ages, that is why the employees open it
arms to accept whoever wants to try and taste our pizza.

 Target Market Segment Strategy

The use of Demographic segmentation in the business truly benefits us to focus on the needs of
the future customers we may encounter. In including their age, gender, income and occupation,
we can determine the difference between the data on how often they visit the shop or what type
of service they always use, it can be dine-in, take-out or delivery.

*Market Needs: The target market must experience the best accommodation and the
conveniency of service Nack’s Pizza provide. Some of those is the good customer service and
offers a place that is clean and organized for individuals and families to have a meal.

*Market Trends: As with growing competition between businesses, we use tactics and
strategy in order to win the heart of the customers for us to make profit. By using and
implementing offers, promos and bonuses, it can be annually or monthly as a celebration to
the foundation of the business, it will serve as a big help in making the business more popular

*Market Growth: While it is impossible to predict in the future of the business, it is still
important to make assumptions and have plans ready for it. By continuing providing a good
service to the customer to satisfy their needs, it can truly help us to gain more confidence and

The primary target market is people who desire a comfortable, family-oriented environment for
dine-in pizza.  The secondary target market of Nack’s Pizza also desires a delivery service for
pizza, or a take-out approach to provide convenience to the customers.

Nack’s Pizza may not be the like compared to other pizzeria out there, but that doesn’t mean that
it does not a chance against its competitors. With the right strategy and decisions, it can catch up
to the competition and prove that all businesses start from a small step. Right now, the focus of
the company is to create a good relationship between customer, by that way we can be a good
place for family and friends to eat and have fun. In the future, we also plan to expand our
business by moving out to other places to create branch shop.

 Competition

The area in which the Nack’s Pizza stands has a lots of dining area and food stalls in which
comes there is a minimal competition between gathering the customers in satisfying their need
and wants. In order to overcome the problem, the Nack’s Pizza was built in the area to provide
new foods aside from restaurant and refreshments products.

*Competitors and Alternatives: Currently, Nack’s Pizza is the only pizzeria in the place it
resides, but the main competition is not between other different shop as they are in the city
proper. The main competition is the present shops and stalls near the pizza shop. Not to
mention there is also a mall beside our pizza shop that drags the attention of our possible
customers. That is why Nack’s Pizza management come up with a plan to resolve this issue.
One of the alternatives used is promoting online, by using the technology we ca can be able to
catch up our popularity and attract people to our pizzeria.

*Our Advantages: In the business world, competition is a normal scenario in which


businesses uses the best strategy they can come up with to make it as their advantage against
other businesses nearby. In our business that mainly focuses in the selling pizza, we have the
advantages because nowadays, pizza is not only eaten by children but also elders. Yes, pizza
is one of the popular foods in the world that is why we make use of its advantage. Also, we
offer different services in our shop, it is either a customer can pick to dine-in, to take-out or
have them deliver their hot pizza right through the doors of their homes.

Nack’s Pizza is an all-around pizza shop offering different modalities to reach our customers
in various ways to provide them the pizza we are proud of. Through the use of flyers and
conducting promos, we attract customers and gain their trust in our product. Also, the
internet is also a big help in promoting online to reach different people who might be a
potential future customer of Pizzeria.

 Company History and Ownership

The sole owner of Nack’s Pizza is Christian Dave Bonita. He came up with the idea of standing
pizza shop in the city to offer good food and in that area, there are less restaurants and stalls shop
that serve pizza. With the help of his friends, the opening of the pizzeria is successful and able to
produce financial stability for daily needs.

The organizational structure of Nack’s Pizza is not broad and simple as it is for it is only a small
pizzeria. It shows the Owner of the company that came up with the idea of running a pizza shop.
After that is the Manager and the Supervisor that is responsible in managing the shop and that
one that send out orders and tasks tot eh employees. Under the organizational chart is the most
important person on the shop, the employees consisting the Delivery Man, which is the sole role
is to deliver pizza to the front doors of the customers, the Waiter and Kitchen Helper that is
responsible in preparing the ingredients need and used in pizza and Cashier, that is tasks in
providing answers in customers questions in means of being friendly and courteous toward them.
