> 1. Create a folder named flexlm under your c: drive.
> 2. Save the attached license.dat file in the flexlm folder. Alternately, you c
an save the license.dat in another folder in your c: drive. Be sure that you do
not already have a license.dat file in this same directory that this could confl
ict with.

> SET LM_LICENSE FILE AND SYNPLCTYD_LICENSE_FILE ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES

> 3. Bring up Control Panel.
> 4. Double click on 'System'.
> 5. In the 'Systems Properties' dialog click on the 'Advanced' tab.
> 6. Click on the 'Environment Variables' button.

> IF LM_LICENSE_FILE IS ALREADY LISTED IN USER VARIABLES:
> 7. Select it, then click 'Edit'.
> 8. Add the path to the Actel license.dat file after any existing Variable Valu
e, separated with a semicolon, or replace the existing Value.
> Go to Step 11.

> IF LM_LICENSE_FILE IS NOT LISTED IN USER VARIABLES:
> 7. Click on the top most 'New' button. 'New User Variable' should be visible.
> 8. In the 'Variable Name' field type: 'LM_LICENSE_FILE' (no quotes).
> 9. In the 'Variable Value' field type: c:\flexlm\license.dat (or path to your
license location).
> 10. Click OK.

> ADD SYNPLCTYD_LICENSE_FILE TO USER VARIABLES: (NOTE: the correct spelling is S
YNPLCTYD_LICENSE_FILE)
> 11. Click on the top most 'New' button. 'New User Variable' should be visible.
> 12. In the 'Variable Name' field type: 'SYNPLCTYD_LICENSE_FILE'(no quotes).
> 13. In the 'Variable Value' field type: 'c:\flexlm\license.dat'(no quotes).
> 14. Click OK.
> 15. Click OK to save new Environment Variables and return to System Properitie
s. Click OK to exit.

> AFTER INSTALLLING THIS LICENSE, FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO USE SYNPLIFY PRO AE
IN LIBERO IDE.
> 1. OPEN Libero IDE.
> 2. From the toolbar, click Project => Profiles
> 3. The Profiles Dialog opens.
> 4. Click on the 'Add' button, and select 'Synthesis'
> 5. When the Add Profile Dialog opens, enter the name "Synplify Pro AE"
> 6. On the 'Select a Tool For Integration' pull down, select "Synplify"
> 7. In the Location window, browse to find and select 'synplify_pro.exe'. In a
typical Libero IDE installation this will be c:\\Libero\Synplify\Synplify_versio
n#\bin\synplify_pro.exe
> 8. Click 'Open', and 'OK', 'OK' to save and close the Profile
> 9. You should now be able to launch Synplify Pro.
