Taking Assessment in Mettl

Candidate Guide
This slides aims to use as a guide for the candidate
• To check their system to ensure it is compatible
with the Mettl Platform &
• To start a Test
1 • Open a google chrome.
• Type “Chrome Web Store” and press enter.
2 • Click “Chrome Web Store – Google Chrome”
• Type “Mettl Tests Enable Screen Sharing” and
3 press enter
4 • Click “ADD TO CHROME”
5 • Click “Add extension”
• Ensure you read “Mettl Tests: Enable Screen
5 Sharing has been added to Chrome”
6 • Click the 3 dots “more” button
7 • Click “More tools” and “Extensions”
• Make sure “Mettl Tests :Enable Screen

Sharing” is inside the “Extensions” Page
Test link

• Trainer will
share the test
link in the
zoom group
chat.
• Left click and

• Open google
chrome browser
• Paste the test link
in the address bar
Start Test

• Step 1. Click “Launch Test”

Note: If you are using Zoom, please ensure that you Stop Video in zoom before you launch test.

Step 2. Click inside the Screen first

Step 3. Click “Share”

Step 5: Click “PROCEED”

Step 4: Click “Hide”

Step 6: Click “Next”

Step 7: Read the instructions and Click “Proceed”

Note:
Please enter the
same email id
that you enrol
for the course Step 8: Fill in the required
and Name as in particulars, check the Terms and
NRIC Conditions and Click “Next”

Step 9: Click “Capture your face” for snapshot

Note: If your face not captured, you will not be allowed to take the Mettl test.

Step 10: Show your Photo ID (NRIC) and Click “Submit”

Note: If no NRIC captured, you will not be allowed to take the Mettl test.

Step 11: Click “Start Test” to start the test

Step 12: Click “Proceed Test”

1. Check the section here.

3. Click “Next Question” to go to the next question

4. Click the Question Number to go to any question to answer

5. For MCQ Questions - Click the circle button to


answer of your choice

6. Click “Clear to Response” to change your answer

7. Answer inside the box provided for


short/ long answer question/ case study

8a. Click Re-visit to answer later for the


particular question. 8b. Once you click “Re-visit”, then “Re-
visit” and the Question number will be
highlighted.
Finishing Test

1a. Click “Finish Test” once you completed the test

1ab Click “Proctor” to chat with invigilator


Finishing Test

2.The number “1” represent the number of question not answered.


Click “Cancel” if you want to go to questions page and answer or
Click “Yes, Finish Test” to finish your test.
