Review: Ask: What are the Accountabilities of Communicators and Journalists
(2 minutes)
Motivation: THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK
Present different statements which are either with basis or without basis. Then
ask the learners to analyze the flashed statement. If they think the statement has a
reliable basis they will answer POST and if it is NOT they will answer
DELETE. (3 minutes)
b. Introduction
Through the use of concept map the teacher will engage into a discussion on the
differences between the ethical and unethical behavior. (4 minutes)
c. Discussion
Discuss the Codes of Ethics of Communicators and Journalists. (10 minutes)
Activity: MANNEQUIN CHALLENGE
Divide the learners into six groups. Each group will do the mannequin challenge
of the given three to four situations which either show ethical or unethical
behaviors of the practitioners. One member of each group will identify if it is
ethical or not and provide a brief explanation. (18 minutes)
d. Application
Ask: If you were a journalist, how would you resist temptations in your
work? (3 minutes)
e. Generalization
Ask: How can a behavior of a communicator or journalist are said as ethical or
unethical? (2 minutes)

As a form of review the students shall participate in a game.
1.) What are the symbolisms that are evident in the sculpture? What do they
represent?
2.) How do these symbols illustrate the meaning of “equal justice and law”?
b. Introduction: Concept Map “Injustice in my society” (5 minutes)
The students will give examples of injustices that they have experience or seen
firsthand in their own community.

The class will be having a forum with regards to their classroom relationships
(e.g. class behavioral environment like bullying, rapport, etc.). The following
issues that arise from the forum shall be addressed by a class resolution which
will be agreed and approved by everyone in the class. Taking into consideration
the value of justice and neutrality while creating the resolution. (10 minutes)

In your opinion, what changes in the legal system must be initiated to improve
the effectiveness and efficiency of our judicial system?
One of the changes in the legal system that must be initiated to improve the
effectiveness and efficiency of our judicial system is to declutter the file cases
that every court has, or fast track some cases that needs to be address
immediately like those pending cases involving senior citizen. (5 min)
V. ASSESSMENT
Slogan Making (5 groups)
Create a SLOGAN that will establish how the judiciary system exercises
political neutrality and fairness.
SLOGAN together with the written RESOLUTION created shall be displayed in
the classroom as a reminder of the resolution they have done in relation with the
previous activity.
The activity will be scored with the following rubrics:
