This survey, which is conducted on high performing firms of Turkey achieving the sustainable
growth, highlighted the relationship among the leadership style, learning orientation and
organizational commitment.
This survey more concerned with the propose of three dimension leadership model task-
oriented leadership, relations-oriented leadership and change oriented leadership dimensions
the “change oriented leadership” dimension shares more common characteristics with
charismatic and transformational leadership behaviors
This survey concludes that leadership styles have a significant influence on organizational
learning, innovative culture, and organizational performance. Innovative culture and
organizational learning have a significant influence on organizational performance. It means
that researchers cannot ignore leadership styles to determine organizational performance.
Leadership styles also enhance positively organizational learning and innovative culture that
contribute positively to organizational performance. Leadership styles both transformational
leadership and transactional leadership.
The Learning Orientation scale measures the tendency or habit of seeking to increase one’s
knowledge and skills; toward valuing the learning process as a means to accomplish mastery
over a task; toward being interested in challenging activities; and toward using information
seeking as a personal strategy when problem solving.
A well performing firm can bring high and long-term profits, which will generate employment
opportunities and improve the income of individuals. Furthermore, financial profitability of a
firm will enhance the returns of its employees, have better production units, and bring products
of higher quality for its customers. This process cannot be possible without an outcome
