    APPLICABILITY OF GREEN ENGINEERING SOLUTION IN

    PAKISTAN
    Scope of Thesis:
    The term green engineering refers to the design, commercialization, and use of products and
    processes that can reduce pollution, promote sustainability, and minimize the risk to both the
    environment and human health while not sacrificing economic viability and efficiency.
    In Pakistan numerous mega & small residential/commercial projects are under consideration
    & will be executed in near future . As an under develop country Pakistan is facing
    environmental problems such as climate change, high energy costs, and pollution-related
    illnesses. Pakistan construction should focus on more sustainable solution to prevent
    environmental problem.  
    The scope of this thesis is to indicate the value of shift from conventional engineering to
    green engineering towards achieving sustainable modern construction projects, identify
    values and challenges of green technology adoption in construction in Pakistan.
