Chemistry by SD Sir: TARGET-JEE (Main + Advanced)

1. The document provides a chemistry practice test with 12 multiple choice questions covering topics in the gaseous state including gas laws, partial pressures, mean kinetic energy, and stoichiometry problems involving gases. 2. The questions assess understanding of how gas properties such as pressure, volume, temperature, and amount of substance relate based on the combined gas law, Dalton's law of partial pressures, kinetic molecular theory and chemical reactions involving gases. 3. An answer key is provided with the correct response for each question listed.

2. Two glass bulbs A and B at same temperature are connected by a very small tube having a stop-corck.
Bulb A has a volume of 100 cm3 and contained the gas while bulb B was empty. On opening the stop-
corck, the pressure fell down to 20%. The volume of the bulb B is:
(1) 100 cm3 (2) 200 cm3 (3) 250 cm3 (4) 400 cm3

3. The product of PV is plotted against P at two temperatures T1 and T2 and the 'result is shown in figure.
What is correct about T1 and T2?

(1) T1 > T2 (2) T2 > T1 (3) T1 = T2 (4) T1 + T2 = 1

4. The volume of a gas increases by a factor of 2 while the pressure decreases by a factor of 3. Given that
the number of moles is unaffected, the factor by which the temperature changes is:
