Special ability assessments are crucial in jobs with high health & safety risks, where having particular

psycho-motor and cognitive abilities appropriately developed is of utmost importance – they determine
if the candidate fulfills the basic requirements to do the job adequately and safely. Some of the abilities
which can be relevant in such positions are:

Attention, memory, executive functions, motor skills, perception, spatial visualization, reaction behavior
and multitasking. Positions in which these kinds of abilities are relevant are usually in blue-collar jobs, in
manufacturing & safety and for professional drivers, where selecting the wrong person can result in
great financial losses due to property damages, production delays, lawsuits, injuries or disability.

In order to have precise assessment of these abilities, we use Schuhfried Vienna Test System – a
computerized psychological testing system which ensures objective and valid testing, scoring and
interpretation through specialized software and hardware.
