Costing -

 Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity


such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
 Analyzing data collected and recording results
 Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or
services provided, to determine effects on cost
 Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing
standard costs to actual production costs
 Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
 Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
 Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
 Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting
prices and profitability of products or services.
 Maintaining Cost Accounting System
 Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger
 Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program
 Reconciles finished goods inventories.
 Knowledge of Parts/Product Costing on ZBC (Zero Base Costing) concept.
 Cost negotiation, have to lead Cost reduction/saving project
 Regularly updation of Cost sheets to improvise the model/to correct/due to
deviation.
 Provide pricing of Spare/Assembly and Packaging cost as per requirement to
concern dept.
 Respond timely to RFQ/query emails of Sales and concern team
 Updation of all price lists in finsys and circulation of price list to all sales team
 Analysis of costs and generation of various MIS
 Verification of PI raised by Export Doc. Team
 Coordination with various departments to complete costing tasks/assignments
in a timely manner

Skills

 Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual


reports
 Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical
skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.
 Working with the sales team to develop targeted sales strategies.
 Answering client queries about product specifications and uses.
 Maintaining client relations.
 Tracking sales data to ensure the company meets sales quotas.
 Creating and presenting sales performance reports
 arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
 maintain and update customer databases
 conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus
groups
 develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
 support the marketing manager in delivering agreed activitie.
 Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
 Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
 Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
