Introduction
United Steel Industries Company (UNISTEEL) is a member of the Al- Fozan Group of
Companies. The Al-Fozan Group has built its reputation since 1969 on a policy of superior
product quality and the highest levels of customer services.
UNISTEEL has established a large modern manufacturing facility for making scaffolding &
formworks in Riyadh (40,000 square meters). The factory is equipped with the latest
production machineries, robotics, best engineering support and skilled manpower to
guarantee cost effective production that will meet the required international standards.
In order to meet the requirements of our customers, UNISTEEL has established local
distribution branches in the Central, Eastern and Western Provinces of Saudi Arabia. These
branch operations can supply a wide range of scaffolding and formwork products on a hire
and sale basis. As well as stocks held locally for fast availability, UNISTEEL can call on its
national stocks and its production facilities for large and specialized requirements.
UNISTEEL provide the designs of the scaffolding and formwork project that will suit the
particular site or project requirement and always in accordance with internationally
recognized codes of safe working practice. These CAD designs made by our experienced
design engineers with expertise in a variety of disciplines including structural (STAAD Pro)
would account including all the developed loads, project safety, site conditions, efficient
scheduling and movement of equipment’s.

company. Continuous improvement at all aspects is the responsibility of all staffs at UNISTEEL.
A list of approved suppliers is maintained which conforms to our criteria as follows:

Consistency of timely supply performance with similar specification and requirements.
Compliance with an approved third party product / quality registration Scheme.
New suppliers are always most welcome and will be subjected to evaluations and should accomplish
a Suppliers Qualification Form.
UNISTEEL’s Purchasing department is very prompt and accurate. But even though, all materials
received by the Supplier are verified with the purchase order parallel to the delivery notes in order to
reassure accuracy of both quantity, quality and material identity. All materials or items are holding
codes to avoid any misrepresentation of materials.
Our quality team is working hard for all production processes from the procurement of raw materials
till the final packaging to ensure that every product is at the finest quality that our clients deserve.
Since our establishment in the year 2006, we are continuously making efforts to manufacture and
supply scaffoldings that could meet all the specific demand of customers.
Infrastructure
With a pleasing working environment, production in terms of both “Quantity and Quality” is facilitated
smoothly. We manufacture our tubes and scaffolding materials using best quality raw materials
procured from the leading manufacturers in the market.
From SABIC coils embarked to our robust Slitting machine and Tube mill, tons of quality tubes can be
produced. Not to mention, we are proud to be the first in the Gulf Region to install robotic machines for
automated assembly of our Modular Scaffolding.
Our standards and ledgers are fabricated in our vigorous robotic machines, which are run by a team
of qualified manufacturing engineers, and technical experts. We also have our Automated Props
Machine, again the first to produce props with a continuous inner prop body with threading. Power
Press machines and an integrated compressed air system contributes in producing all products.
UNISTEEL also installed a powder coating line. Powder-coat finished, we can assure you our materials
will remarkably overwhelm the greatest challenge in the industry.
With UNISTEEL’s meticulous maintenance team, we can assure our clients that our machines are
constantly in good condition, due to Preventive Maintenance as per the Schedule and providing require
spare parts in the most immediate time as they demand. All machines in the workshop are maintained
according to the manufacturer’s specifications, and if possible, are maintained by the manufacturer
themselves.
UNISTEEL facilities meet all necessary standards regarding Health & Safety, with a firm accident
book and accident recording procedure in place to protect the employees.
The factory floor area is in the region of 7,200 m².
Office Capabilities
UNISTEEL acquired a comprehensive business management solution software Microsoft Dynamics
GP for registering overall production, preparation of quotations, receipt of raw materials, and inventory
recording overall production products up to its disposal. It connects the full range of business
processes across the organization.
The extensive reporting and collaborative capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics GP gives the needed
information to the top management to make business decisions. Easily access data, friendly user and
analyze real-time data about every aspect of the operations, including individual transactions,
customized key performance indicators, trends, and growth opportunities.
UNISTEEL will continuously invest in infrastructure, manufacturing, distribution, customer service, new
products and engineering services to meet the needs of the industries that we serve.

UNISTEEL allotted 9,000 m² area (Riyadh, Khobar, and Jeddah) to locate of its good quantity of stock.

UNISTEEL’s factory is equipped with the state-of-the-art machines and robotics, and is continuously
developing its modern manufacturing facility to cover a wide product range. Brochures of all product

UNISTEEL’s scaffolding venture is supported by a substantial investment of high quality equipment’s

SAFELOK System Scaffolding

This system is one of the most widely and successfully used modular systems scaffolds. Its principle
characteristic is the unique locking of the vertical and horizontal join together.
Standards lengths are available to suit all project applications in slab, columns, walls and other types
of vertical formworks applications. Aluminum beams are also available with end caps to protect and
reduce edges from being bent
Primary and Secondary Aluminum Form Beams

These beams have their unique extruded profiles which come with a single web or double web
configuration.
Scaffold Fittings, Specialized Fittings and Ancillary components,

UNISTEEL’s drop forged fittings and couplers provide the important combination of strength and
robustness. These are tested and conform according to the requirements of BS 1139 (Part 2) and
EN74 Class A and B and comply with the latest ARAMCO general instruction on safety requirements
of scaffolds GI 8.001.
The range of drop forged couplers is a result of meticulous research into the distortion points and
areas of strain under stress. All products have grain flow which is controlled to put strength directly
where it is needed to provide resistance to distortion and enhance durability.
An extensive range of specialized scaffold fittings are also available to ensure that all particular and
detailed requirements of any scaffolding application are met.
LVL Scaffold Boards

UNISTEEL supplies lightweight laminated veneer lumber (LVL) scaffold boards which strictly conforms
to BS 5973 and the latest ARAMCO general instruction on safety requirements of scaffolding GI8.001.
All LVL scaffold boards are supplied with a nominal board width of 225mm or 9 inches and nominal
board thickness of 39mm or 1 ½ inches in standard lengths. It also provides a safe and long lasting
durable solution to suit any access requirements.
Galvanized Scaffolding Tubes

UNISTEEL also offers galvanized scaffold tubes which is conform by BS 1139 section 1:1 and the
latest ARAMCO general instruction on safety requirements for scaffold GI 8.001.
Column and Wall Formworks

UNISTEEL offers a unique adjustable column formwork system. With our adjustable column arms
used with heavy duty closing ties, our system will work on any size of rectangular or square columns.
General Scaffolding Accessories

Tools and other related safety Accessories including scaffold belts, spanners, scafftags, and an
extensive range of ancillary scaffolding fittings including scaffold bins and pallets.
