be applied during different types of research process. The course specifically pays attention to
a scientific process of data collection and information processing in the social sciences for the
purpose of authentication of information gathered. Precision Journalism teaches the diverse
sections in the methods of a research project.
b) Course Objective
The objective of the course is to introduce students to the different research method available
to them for their research and future projects. The course helps them understand the required
process necessary to ensure the scientific process is followed for a proper presentation of
reliable data for audience consumption and future development. Students are easily able to
identify and justify their use of a research method in resolving a research problem and apply
it appropriately for the adequate presentation of relevant data.

a) Methods of Lecture Delivery/Teaching Aids

Lectures will be delivered through the use of Smart Board
Lecture delivery Methods: Teaching and daily class practical to test students’ knowledge of
identifying different research method and the practical application of these methods in
research.
