Executive Development Program (EDP)
(Admission to Postgraduate Diploma in Textile Management)
Executive Development Centre (EDC), BUTEX is offering a Postgraduate Diploma in Textile Management sponsored by The Ministry of
Finance, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, under the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP). This program
is designed to produce world class managers and future leaders for the textile industry of Bangladesh. The curriculum of EDP is designed
based on the identified deficient areas of local executives and managers that include Communication and soft skills, Human Resource
Management, Operations Management, Financial Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Textile Studies, Product Development,
Compliance and CSR, Environmental Management, Industrial Engineering and Textile Merchandising.

Selection process PROGRAM FEATURES


• Candidates will be selected based on the  International standard Teaching-Learning facilities
written test and viva-voce.  9-Month long Managerial program (6 months course work & 3 months internship)
• Only short listed candidates will be  No course fee is required
called for written test and viva-voce  Lunch, refreshment, conveyance and internship allowance will be provided
 Class Time: Friday and Saturday: 3 PM to 6 PM & 6 PM to 9 PM;
Application Deadline
• Saturday, 18 January 2020 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• Hard Copy Submission date at EDC Office:  Category A (Experienced): Executives/Managers working in the textile industry
01-18 January 2020 with bachelor degree in any discipline.
 Category B (Fresher): Graduate in Science/ Textiles or other branches of
Written Test Engineering with excellent academic record.
Friday, 07 February 2020  Executives/ Managers working in BTMA membered industries with bachelor
degree will get preference if they apply through BTMA recommendation.
Written Test Result Publication
Friday, 14 February 2020
 Female candidates will get preference in admission.

Those who have completed training of 2 weeks or more under SEIP should not apply

APPLICATION PROCESS
Final Result Publication  Candidates should apply either using the prescribed application form available at

an auto-generated filled-in application form will be sent to given email address. The
Class Start signed form along with the following documents should be submitted to EDC

 A motivation letter for joining in the EDP
 Copy of all academic certificates, marksheets, testimonial
