PAST
Åberg, a name filled with expectations and honor. Within Terra this name was reserved for one family only. The royal knight guard
family. Ever since the kingdom was formed this family has been the “mountain“ of safety and stability. The Åbergs had sworn loyalty
until death for the sake of prosperity within the kingdom. While the royal family kept their promise for a wealthy life, the Åbergs sent
generations after generations into knight training camps. Those to be born in the main family Åbergs were assigned to serve unter the
King himself while the branch families were scattered everywhere around the army troops.

While normal procedure promised sons from the Åbergs a prosperous life in the army, women were treated like breeding grounds. Holy
breeding grounds since anyone born within this clan was destined to be a great warrior already. Yet the deep rooted problems shined
through when the main family only brought one girl to the training ground. A girl carrying the name Andrea Åberg.

Andrea was the only child of her parents. Usually the mother would try for more children to send out at least one boy. However Andreas'
birth was too much to handle already that her mother died only a few months after she conceived Andrea, leaving the baby and her father
behind.

With being the only child of her generation and a girl also, the tradition was at danger anyhow. Branch families were in envy of the
privileges while everyone else only reduced the young girl down to her gender. Some had the audacity to tell the child to just “breed“ new
warriors as soon as possible, while others only wished death upon the main family. No matter what, the young girl was destined to fail
any expectations given.
At least her father was trying his best to raise the child into a mature and confident woman. His love for his wife was as big as it could be,
honouring his only child as much as he could. He never expected her to fulfil any wishes but her own. All he wished for was a good life
for his daughter, either if she would settle down as soon as she could or if she would want to fight for her place in the army.

At age 13 she was sent to the same training camp as the royal brothers. It was only natural that others only looked down on her. Others
kept bullying her, calling her names because of their narrow minded values. In reality they just envied her privileges and that she still
made it into the academy against all wishes. Soon enough, the easily influenced child died and became an adult way too soon.

She soon became friends with Derric, Caspier however, not so much. Derric and her seemed to be familiar and connect somehow. Derric
saw her as a human being with willingness to fight for her place while Andrea saw him as a normal person, more than just the prince.
Both helped each other through the training. Dea indeed hoped for Derric to become King but even she always knew he was too “soft”.

While the brothers each fought a dragon for the throne, Dea was still fighting for her right to graduate. Any instructors in the camp made
it especially hard for her. Yet it didn’t stop her from overcoming anyone who dared to compete with her. If it wasn’t for her fathers
influence, there might have been a chance for her to fail the camp any time.

PRESENT
Years had passed and young Dea was now a grown woman. After that she turned into a whole different person. All the hate and
discriminating behaviour she had to endure turned Dea into an angry and rage fueled human.
On one hand she hated all the expectations and pressure that weigheted into her name, on the other she was happy to burst and rearrange
them. Being the first female knight and dragon slayer ever played a lot into her ego. She was promoted within the army as fast as the
Kings of her time would let her. And anyone who talked down on her, was now fearing being under her comando. Not once would you be
able to catch her on a good day. She would scoff and insult you every second she could.
This behaviour originated from the wish to be respected. Since no one respected her the good way, the bad way seemed the only thing
left. Thus blinding her moral compass.
 STRENGTHS HEADCANONS

The blue cape is drenched in blood representing the
+ lengths Åbergs went for the royal family.

In the beginning of the tradition it even used to use

blood by Lumens citizens, while now they might be
faking the blood.

The tradition itself is continued through every heir.

Whoever of the main family steps up to the role of a
Captain is given the cape and sword.

The cape has to be dipped in blood with every passing.

With the event of the promotion, the newest member
will also renew the vow of loyalty.

● Dea and Derric were extremely close during their time

in the camp. Her anger issues already formed back then,
but whenever she talked to Derric, she would go all
soft. Once he left, her only comfort person left also.
