Running Record Template

Michael is a 1 year and 3 month old boy who was observed playing with colorful coins. He used fine motor skills to pick up the coins and put them in a box, showing good hand-eye coordination and control. When asked a question by his educator, he responded non-verbally by nodding and smiling. He was able to concentrate on the activity and successfully mimic the movements. The running record concluded that Michael is a confident and involved learner who actively participates and tries to communicate, showing he has achieved key learning outcomes of being a confident and effective communicator.
