Table of contents
1) Introduction
2) Role of Information system in Amazon Jobs
3) Organization Layer
Introduction
Bangladesh is a developing country. The unemployment rate in Bangladesh is getting higher day
by day. People do not get jobs of their choice. The employers don’t get perfect employee for their
organization. Sometimes everything is ok but the procedure is too much lengthy. To get rid of all
these obstacles, to maintain a good connection between the job seekers and job holders we will
bring a new online job site named as Amazon Jobs. Amazon jobs is a online based platform that
designed to connect more people in short time including both side employer and employee.
Firstly Amazon is already doing online store business B2C for a long time around the world
which considered it as multinational company. Again as Amazon is entering Bangladesh for the
first time as a market so analyzing the whole market is important for Amazon before they start
investment. In order to achieve correct result to analyze market for Amazon swot and pest
analyzes is mandatory. Starting with market STP is easy to conduct the approach and how we
should deliver our service to the users.
1) Human Resources
An HR module should be able to process tasks related to managing your employees, including
payroll, timesheets, benefits, on boarding and off boarding. The HR module should automate
payments, including deductions so, for example, an hourly employee's wages are automatically
calculated based on her timesheet, benefits and taxes are deducted and the net pay is
automatically deposited into her bank account.
A BI module can help business leaders make well-informed decisions based on meaningful and
timely data from any department as needed. This module can analyze practically any business
process and provide reports without any excess information. Reports can be in a visual format
or presented in tables, depending on the manager's preferences.
An SCM module usually works with an inventory management system to improve the
efficiency of a company's supply chain by using real-time data to optimize manufacturing and
distribution processes. This can give you the ability to intervene when a problem happens,
rather than waiting to find out the next day or later. More than that, today's SCM software can
track and analyze these processes to predict when a problem is likely to occur. An example of
this is the ability to notify customers when orders are being processed and shipped in real-time.
5) Financial Management
Just about every business with an ERP will use a financial management module. It works in
conjunction with the other ERP components to track the flow of money, from the purchase of
new supplies to paying employees and issuing invoices to customers. Financial management
software in an ERP can also help you budget, produce financial forecasts and give you insights
into where costs can be reduce
Organization Layer
Top Level: The board of directors, president, vice-president, and CEO are all examples of top-
level managers. They are responsible for controlling and overseeing the entire organization. They
develop goals, strategic plans, company policies, and make decisions on the direction of the
business.
So basically in our online Jobs company the people in the executive level will decide the goals,
strategies and hence will make all the decisions. Though it’s an online company so mostly all the
communications will be done through online with the co-workers, colleagues, managers,
employees, external sector etc.
The managers in this level will ensure whether all the works and tasks are going well by the
operational employees or lower level managers.
Lower Level: While upper-level employees make and implement decisions, low-level
employees are usually the ones who carry them out. Although low-level employees are paid the
least, they are integral to the success of an organization. They will operate the physical and also
some technological activities needed for the company, these people will ensure all the
operational level tasks and hence will be in touch with Amazon Jobs 24/7, so for this reason this
level has large numbers for ensuring the availability.
1)Increased efficiency :Through providing more shop floor visibility, employees and job holders
can decrease red time and make sure that the best applicant is selected for the job
2) Decreased costs: A fully integrated ERP system reduces overhead costs by streamlining many
of the processes a job goes through from beginning to completion.
3) Paperless operations: Having every file/document at your fingertips in the system and
accessible from every station eliminates the need for printing and wasted papers
By the information system the outputs will show results about the inputs. The users who input
information about themselves will get an output. The output would be the selection from the
company those users as a candidate for the job
Though the internet Amazon jobs is connected the outer world. Amazon jobs has accessibility to
the all users. The services are internet based so internet or open network all is essential for both
employer and employee.
Extranet :
Different service and solution are connected with this network. Like third party organization, IT
specialist, app developer and management team. It will also send SMS/notification.
Intranet :
This network is only connected in amazons main office and its branch offices. All branches are
connected with the core router at the data centre using fiber or radio link.
Companies rely on IT for fast communications, data processing and market intelligence.
IT plays an integral role in every industry, helping companies improve business
processes, achieve cost efficiencies, drive revenue growth and maintain a competitive
advantage in the marketplace. Amazon jobs used web 2.0 technologies. Web 2.0 helps to
share information, collaboration and functionality. It helps to exchange data. There is a
changing way of interacting with customers. We need web 2.0 technologies is for
transparency, engagement of the customers, opportunities of communication and
branding, and the preference of customer communication style preferences. This is how
the web technology is helping the information systems to achieve organization’s
objectives.
Technical Understanding
Interactive searching System, Supply Chain Management (SCM), CRM (Customer Relation
Management).
NoSQL information like Dynamo square measure a response to ancient relative databases
like the Oracle database and therefore the open supply MySQL. An information base on-line
computer electronic information service} stores data in neat rows and columns, and it’s
designed to run on one machine – though engineers have learned to stretch them across
multiple servers. Against this, a NoSQL information provides additional versatile method of
storing information, and it’s specifically designed to scale across a sizable number of
machines.
Every second CRM (Customer Relation Management) system is taking client info although
their looking out, data processing, list then on. no matter client buys or not they're providing
info regarding them. The entire supply chain activities area unit controlled by CRM system.

quick performance, high availableness, security and compatibility they have.
Amazon Job RDS is out there on many info instance varieties - optimized for memory,

Information Systems Security
Definitions vary, but in the most general sense, a system security threat is a malicious event or
action targeted at interrupting the integrity of corporate or personal computer systems. The
motivation is to compromise data for the purposes of exploitation. Data can be of the sensitive
type; things like credit card information, passwords or contact lists. And another type is
information that might interest advertisers, like your Internet browsing habits.
1. VIRUS: The term “virus” has been used as a catchall phrase for many threats.
Essentially, a virus is a computer program that, like a medical virus, has the ability to
replicate and infect other computers. They are transmitted over networks or via USB
drives and other portable media.
2. WORM: A worm is a specific type of virus. Unlike a typical virus, its goal isn't to alter
system files, but to replicate so many times that it consumes hard disk space or memory.
Worm victims will notice their computers running slower or crashing.
3. TROJAN: Trojan horses, commonly referred to as Trojan, are programs. They
masquerade as normal, safe applications, but their mission is to allow a hacker remote
access to your computer. In turn, the infected computer can be used as part of a denial of
service attack and data theft can occur. A particularly nasty Trojan is a keystroke logger
than can be used to capture passwords, credit card numbers and other sensitive
information.
4. SPYWARE: Spyware usually invades computers through software downloads.
Shareware and freeware downloads, in addition to peer-to-peer file sharing are typical
infection points. Like Trojans, spyware can pilfer sensitive information, but are often
used as advertising tools as well. The intent is to gather a user's information by
monitoring Internet activity and transmitting that to an attacker.
5. ADWARE: Similar to spyware, adware observes a user's Internet browsing habits. But
the purpose is to be able to better target the display of web advertisements.
The list of system security threats is extensive and growing. A defense strategy that includes anti-
virus software, system patching and timely software updates are key to combating the problem.
For system administrators and end-users alike, understanding the differences between these
threats are the first step towards being able to eradicate them. Among all these threats the most
dangerous and most likely to severe damage are spyware and adware. The SANS Institute
publishes a list of top security threats that will help keep us up to date.
Spyware: It will hamper our site because our users will upload their files. If the files are
attacked with virus, it will create new hassle for others to get or reach them. If we open
our internet browser and a strange- looking homepage pops up and won’t go away,
chances are we have a spyware program installed on our computer. Our computer is
unstable, sluggish, lock up, or crashes frequently. We have to run in the background
taking up disk space and processor speed which will cause serious performance
problems.
Given the security threats of spyware, we're probably wondering how to protect our computer
from spyware downloading itself and causing so much annoyance and damage. As with
everything else, the best method of protection against spyware is prevention! We can install key
loggers on our computer and it will save our website. Following steps will help our website from
spyware-

Market STP
Market segmentation
Amazon jobs is a app that helps to build a community in the working age people so that they can
communicate between then without any communication problem. Both demographic and
psychographic segmentation is important for Amazon jobs. In demographic age occupation are
selected and in psychographic personality , lifestyle and class is selected.
Market targeting
White collar job holder age of 22-45 is the target market group for our app. Those people, who
use internet in a regular basis, prefer using apps for any sort of need.
Market positioning
As Amazon already has a brand image so it would be easy for us to positioning the brand image
and its benefits in users mind. Delivering the benefits with effective promotional activities would
make the positioning more effective.
The biggest strength that IKEA has is its clear vision, which is to add value to its customers
irrespective of the market conditions. This has translated into an articulate and well-defined
business strategy and an approach to retailing, which is pioneering in its simplicity and deadly in
its targeting of competitors and effective in its positioning.
Another key strength of the company is its clear concept which translates into an array of
products that can be assembled by the customers themselves leading to humungous cost
reductions which are then passed on to the customers. With its single-minded focus on cost
leadership, IKEA has emerged as the world’s leading retailer of furniture.
IKEA measures its strengths using the metrics provided by the KPIs or the Key Performance
Indicators that include increased use of renewable materials, smarter use of raw materials,
establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers and leveraging the
efficiencies and the synergies from the economies of scale.
Weaknesses
Given the fact that IKEA operates in multiple countries around the world, it is a high scale and a
large size business meaning that it is difficult to control standards across locations. Though the
company tries its best to implement uniform quality across its product range and throughout its
locations, replicable and scalable control of quality is a key weakness.
With its obsessive focus on cost leadership, quality sometimes goes for a toss especially in the
present context where the costs of many inputs and raw materials has gone up and which has
impacted the profitability of the company. The point to be noted here is that it is sometimes
difficult to maintain quality in the context of increasing costs and the need to replicate standards
across its locations worldwide.
There are environmental concerns about IKEA’s operations and the company faces challenges in
communicating and articulating its environmental policies to its customers, shareholders, and
other stakeholders.
Opportunities
With its “green” business model, the company has a huge opportunity waiting in terms of
attracting customers who like to buy such products. The rise of the ethical consumer or the
process of buying known as “Ethical Chic” which means that customers would ideally like to
buy products that are environmentally conscious is an opportunity waiting to be tapped for the
company.
Perhaps the biggest opportunity that the company has is its cost leadership, which means a
single-minded focus on cost at the expense of everything else. While this has raised concerns
about quality, the customers do not seem to mind as they are getting their money’s worth and the
addition of value to the customers is another significant opportunity.
The other opportunity lies in the company’s expansion into the emerging markets and the
developing world where it has an untapped customer base that can be leveraged for effective
profitability. IKEA is already drawing up plans to enter markets like China and India with a clear
strategy of cost leadership, which it hopes, would yield benefits to the company.
Threats
IKEA’s low cost business model has been imitated and copied by its rivals, which means that the
company needs to constantly innovate if it has to stay ahead of the competition. For instance,
several regional and local companies have caught on to the DIY bandwagon and are also
focusing on costs which means that to stay nimble and agile, IKEA has to come up with newer
strategies.
With the advent of the internet and online shopping, DIY as a key driver of strategic success is
no longer the sole USP or Unique Selling Proposition of IKEA and with the proliferation of
online retailers who can provide even lower costs because they do not have a physical presence
means that they are snapping at the heels of IKEA.
Swot analysis for Amazon Jobs
This swot analysis helps to understand current position that Amazon has in many but nation. As
Amazon jobs is a totally new idea to generate new revenue model. Considering that the new swot
analysis for Amazon in a idea of Amazon jobs is detailed.
Weaknesses
Amazon might be weak in front of it competitors because of its imitable business model, limited
penetration in enveloping markets, and limited brick and mortar presence. Connecting people
with each other is a hard task to do. It needs to have a separated managerial structure and policies
to develop the whole process and make it acceptable towards to users. Where Amazon only
developed one business process. Many other companies are already interested in this market and
they already started their start up business process both local and foreign.
Opportunities
In this modern era people are being more used to with technologies. They prefer to search for job
with in short time rather than waiting for newspaper and other paper advertisement so it’s a
advantage for Amazon to attract more user for their app. In Bangladesh people are still being in
the process of using technologies for their need. The efficiency of searching right job in short
time will make the difference. It will help Amazon to conduct their app to user with benefits. It
will also help Amazon to invest in Bangladesh in other online platform based business.
Threats
Threats which might emerge in long run for Amazon jobs is people who are already using other
application might not get interested to use this. People still searches jobs on newspapers or
other paper notices. So making them to use this app and making this big change can have
negative effects. Many local companies can also be threat to this. High Spending on Marketing
and R&D Efforts, Potential Competition In Future and slowdown In Revenue Growth Due To
Expansion In Low Income Countries these can be also threats for Amazon jobs.
PEST Analysis
After swot analysis pest analysis is also a helpful way to figure out whether is a great good
decision to invest or not.
Political
Bangladesh has a stable political condition. Current government has all over decontrol in
countries each affair. So it’s a good choice to start a business for Amazon.
Economics
Bangladesh has a decent economics condition. According to the IMF, Bangladesh's economy is
the second fastest growing major economy of 2016, with a rate of 7.1%. ... In the decade since
2004, Bangladesh averaged a GDP growth of 6.5% that has been largely driven by its exports of
readymade garments, remittances and the domestic agricultural sector. So in terms of economic
condition Amazon has many opportunities.
Social
Bangladesh is one of those which has so many diversity in its social culture. Socially it is much
enriched. Citizen of Bangladesh often like to stick together so as a aspect of social preference
Amazon can achieve many opportunities in Bangladesh.
Technological
After all these analysis and reviews we can assume that Amazon can really work at their best and
can achieve their goal here in Bangladesh by launching Amazon jobs.
CRM Strategy
Amazon has a reputation for providing the customers with all things that they need, all in one
convenient space. What has since become called as 'the Amazon Effect,' the company has
successfully managed relations with millions of customers worldwide without ever meeting them
face-to-face. The entire process of shopping at Amazon is very smooth and easy. But they will be
known as opportunity founders also. It has a simple and easy-to-use interface, stored personal
and card details, and one-click job findings, all of which make it possible to make find quickly
and smoothly.

concept that has worked well both on the website and on its Kindle devices. This clever use of
user’s data makes sure that its customers continue to feel valued while allowing Amazon to keep
coming up with new and innovative ways of retaining and attracting customers. Amazon is
famous for its customer relationship management. Polls have ranked it as the most trusted online
shopping site in America, and some have ranked Amazon Prime #1 among all loyalty programs.
Administrative task: Having a CRM helps our website to administrative tasks which help
to focus time and resources on more useful tasks. And average website users
representative spends around 23 percent of their time on administrative tasks.
Reduction in administrative workload helps cut the above figure down to 10 percent
allowing users reps more time to focus on generating and converting more leads.
CRM is especially helpful for supervisors and sales leaders. CRMs have built-in
communication tools that make conversations quicker. The decision-making process gets
quicker, and even though administration might not directly impact revenue, it impacts the
time average spent by sales rep daily.
Ideal buyer: For a faster deal closure, user reps need to be focused on the deals that are
more likely to close. First, user reps need to understand the success rate with companies of
varying sizes. It is important for website users to understand the patterns. Analyzing the
win rates for both large and small deals lets team understand the same.
Contact management: Keeping our users database up to date is crucial for our business.
Logging all our call notes and make sure that every time user gets recorded. Setting up an
automatic Bcc is an effective way of doing so. Now the difficult part comes! Logging all
this information manually is a treacherous task and sometimes due to human error crucial
parts of the conversation may get left aside. While leveraging CRM solutions sales teams
can easily be briefed who they should reach out to and when. Even the marketing team can
be trained about the leads that must be funneled into a nurturing program. When the job
seekers or users use our website for any search they are guided by our sales person or help
line officers.
Sales pipeline tracking: Tracking leads or prospects is the most crucial aspects of our sales
pipeline. This is the segment that is most time-consuming because of its manual nature, if
users have not deployed a CRM. There are six basic steps in sales pipeline:
o Lead generation
o Lead nurturing
o Closed deal
o Post-sale
Lead tracking oversees most of the steps in a search pipeline making the search process quick but
without quicker results. Skipping steps towards the search goals will not help user close the deals
fast.
Identifying the position of the prospects in users search pipeline and trying to move them along
gets tough if user is doing so using spreadsheets or a poorly designed software.
Having CRM automates the sales process. It helps user streamline user sales pipeline saving user
major time and helping user shorten the search cycle.
After this much automation, all the reps need to do is decide when and how they can respond.
CRM also helps you gather all information that helps reps predict future behaviors and target
future marketing campaigns that will work based on the information collected.
Schedule follow ups: After the qualified lead and prospects are moved through the
funnel, the major task that crops up is timely follow-ups.
Mastering follow-ups are important for your job seeker cycle as it results in better and
faster deal closures. By using a CRM, businesses can stay on track with their sales
objectives, and make follow up at regular intervals. This way our sales reps will meet their
sales goals on time and keep the clients or users happy.
Because we all know and understand that the actual money is in the successful follow-up.
