EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Amazon.com, Inc. is an American multinational technology company based in Seattle,
Washington that focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming and artificial
intelligence. It is considered one of the Big Four technology companies along with Google,
Apple and Facebook. Its website include several media, baby products, consumer electronics,
beauty products, gourmet foods, jewelry, watches, garden items, musical instruments, sporting
tools, toys & games. Besides that we are introducing Amazon Jobs in Bangladesh for taking it to
a new stage.

This report mainly focuses on Amazon Job’s in Bangladesh which will create a new path for our
upcoming generations. It will help us to find jobs internationally. We can get offers from one
country to another. It will establish an era for many of us. Especially in Bangladesh, who are still
unemployed and does not find suitable job as per their qualifications they can have a huge
opportunity to prove their capability through this. We do not need to wait months and years for
getting job. Through this our economic growth will increase and revenue will come from it. This
report also portraits the marketing plan for setting this new thought to our country. Though it is
our basic theory for recreating Amazon Job’s in Bangladesh.

Introduction
Bangladesh is a developing country. The unemployment rate in Bangladesh is getting higher day
by day. People do not get jobs of their choice. The employers don’t get perfect employee for their
organization. Sometimes everything is ok but the procedure is too much lengthy. To get rid of all
these obstacles, to maintain a good connection between the job seekers and job holders we will
bring a new online job site named as Amazon Jobs. Amazon jobs is a online based platform that
designed to connect more people in short time including both side employer and employee.
Firstly Amazon is already doing online store business B2C for a long time around the world
which considered it as multinational company. Again as Amazon is entering Bangladesh for the
first time as a market so analyzing the whole market is important for Amazon before they start
investment. In order to achieve correct result to analyze market for Amazon swot and pest
analyzes is mandatory. Starting with market STP is easy to conduct the approach and how we
should deliver our service to the users.

Role of Information system in Amazon Jobs

Amazon Jobs use enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to collect, manage and analyze
data across different areas, from manufacturing to finance and accounting. This type of
information system consists of multiple applications that provide a 360-degree view of
business operations. Five major functions of ERP are given below

1) Human Resources

An HR module should be able to process tasks related to managing your employees, including
payroll, timesheets, benefits, on boarding and off boarding. The HR module should automate
payments, including deductions so, for example, an hourly employee's wages are automatically
calculated based on her timesheet, benefits and taxes are deducted and the net pay is
automatically deposited into her bank account.

2) Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

A CRM module stores data related to customers and prospects, giving employees insights that
can improve sales and marketing processes. For example, CRM can track customer buying
habits, so you can see what types of products you may be able to up sell and when the best
time may be to offer these products. CRM is especially useful for an e-commerce business,
allowing you to target prospects with ads that are meaningful to them. A CRM module can also
track when prospects have been contacted and what was discussed, eliminating additional sales
calls that may not be appropriate.

3) Business Intelligence (BI)

A BI module can help business leaders make well-informed decisions based on meaningful and
timely data from any department as needed. This module can analyze practically any business
process and provide reports without any excess information. Reports can be in a visual format
or presented in tables, depending on the manager's preferences.

4) Supply Chain Management (SCM)

An SCM module usually works with an inventory management system to improve the
efficiency of a company's supply chain by using real-time data to optimize manufacturing and
distribution processes. This can give you the ability to intervene when a problem happens,
rather than waiting to find out the next day or later. More than that, today's SCM software can
track and analyze these processes to predict when a problem is likely to occur. An example of
this is the ability to notify customers when orders are being processed and shipped in real-time.

5) Financial Management

Just about every business with an ERP will use a financial management module. It works in
conjunction with the other ERP components to track the flow of money, from the purchase of
new supplies to paying employees and issuing invoices to customers. Financial management
software in an ERP can also help you budget, produce financial forecasts and give you insights
into where costs can be reduce

Organization Layer
Top Level: The board of directors, president, vice-president, and CEO are all examples of top-
level managers. They are responsible for controlling and overseeing the entire organization. They
develop goals, strategic plans, company policies, and make decisions on the direction of the
business.

So basically in our online Jobs company the people in the executive level will decide the goals,
strategies and hence will make all the decisions. Though it’s an online company so mostly all the
communications will be done through online with the co-workers, colleagues, managers,
employees, external sector etc.

Middle Level: Middle management is at the center of a hierarchical organization, subordinate to

the senior management but above the lowest levels of operational staff. They provide guidance to
lower-level managers and inspire them to perform better.

The managers in this level will ensure whether all the works and tasks are going well by the
operational employees or lower level managers.

Lower Level: While upper-level employees make and implement decisions, low-level
employees are usually the ones who carry them out. Although low-level employees are paid the
least, they are integral to the success of an organization. They will operate the physical and also
some technological activities needed for the company, these people will ensure all the
operational level tasks and hence will be in touch with Amazon Jobs 24/7, so for this reason this
level has large numbers for ensuring the availability.

For system administrators and end-users alike, understanding the differences between these

 Spyware: It will hamper our site because our users will upload their files. If the files are
attacked with virus, it will create new hassle for others to get or reach them. If we open
our internet browser and a strange- looking homepage pops up and won’t go away,
chances are we have a spyware program installed on our computer. Our computer is
unstable, sluggish, lock up, or crashes frequently. We have to run in the background
taking up disk space and processor speed which will cause serious performance
problems.

 Adware: As companies go to the Internet to conduct their business, their IT security

becomes more vulnerable to many hackers and viruses. That’s why it’s even more
important to recognize whether or not your systems are under threat from malicious
software to swiftly fend off the infection. Here are a few warning signs to tell if we are a
victim of malware infection. First of all. Slow computer is the most common symptom of
a malware infection is a slow running computer. However, before we immediately
assume our computer has a virus, we should check if there are other causes to our
computer slowing down. Check if you’re running out of RAM. For Windows, open task
manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and go to the Performance tab and check how many
gigabytes of RAM we are using under the Memory section. For Mac OS users, we can
open the Activity Monitor app and under System Memory we should be able to find out
our RAM usage. Secondly, blue screen of death is a technical problem with our system or
a malware infection. We might not have installed the latest drivers for our device or the
programs we are running could possibly be incompatible with our hardware.

the vacancies advertised on any one of our websites. For job seekers who register to this service
will receive an email listing those jobs that he/she should be interested in. Their requirements are
defined by their preferred criteria which can be used to specific job titles, skills, organization
types or other definition of the job they want. Anyone can change these criteria at any time.

reductions which are then passed on to the customers. With its single-minded focus on cost
leadership, IKEA has emerged as the world’s leading retailer of furniture.

IKEA measures its strengths using the metrics provided by the KPIs or the Key Performance
Indicators that include increased use of renewable materials, smarter use of raw materials,
establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers and leveraging the
efficiencies and the synergies from the economies of scale.

Weaknesses

Given the fact that IKEA operates in multiple countries around the world, it is a high scale and a
large size business meaning that it is difficult to control standards across locations. Though the
company tries its best to implement uniform quality across its product range and throughout its
locations, replicable and scalable control of quality is a key weakness.

With its obsessive focus on cost leadership, quality sometimes goes for a toss especially in the
present context where the costs of many inputs and raw materials has gone up and which has
impacted the profitability of the company. The point to be noted here is that it is sometimes
difficult to maintain quality in the context of increasing costs and the need to replicate standards
across its locations worldwide.

There are environmental concerns about IKEA’s operations and the company faces challenges in
communicating and articulating its environmental policies to its customers, shareholders, and
other stakeholders.
Opportunities

With its “green” business model, the company has a huge opportunity waiting in terms of
attracting customers who like to buy such products. The rise of the ethical consumer or the
process of buying known as “Ethical Chic” which means that customers would ideally like to
buy products that are environmentally conscious is an opportunity waiting to be tapped for the
company.

Perhaps the biggest opportunity that the company has is its cost leadership, which means a

several regional and local companies have caught on to the DIY bandwagon and are also
focusing on costs which means that to stay nimble and agile, IKEA has to come up with newer
strategies.

With the advent of the internet and online shopping, DIY as a key driver of strategic success is
no longer the sole USP or Unique Selling Proposition of IKEA and with the proliferation of
online retailers who can provide even lower costs because they do not have a physical presence
