Group Portfolio

This document provides a rubric to evaluate student portfolios analyzing a historical or contemporary person. The portfolio should apply concepts from three modules on perspectives of the self, deconstructing the self, and personal flourishing. It will be evaluated on the proper use of theory, critical analysis and insights, creativity, and organization. The highest scores are for portfolios that thoroughly apply several relevant concepts, achieve personal insights, and synthesize different disciplinary perspectives in innovative ways.

 The students will answer the big question: Who is this person? How did this person flourish?
What can we understand of the self in this person?
 You should apply all your learnings in GEUSELF from Module 1 (various perspectives of
the Self), Module 2 (deconstructing the Self) and Module 3 (Personal Flourishing). The
output can be a creative output.
