Stress Relieving Procedure

STRESS RELIEVING PROCEDURE

1. Load A Component Into The Furnace When The Temperature Of Furnace Is At 100
Degree Centigrade Or Lower.

2. Heat The Component Up To 600+/- 20 Degrees Centigrade @50-80 Degree Centigrade


Per Hour.

3. Hold The Component (Soaking) At 600+/- 20 Degree Centigrade Between 2 Hours To


2 ½ Hours.

4. Furnace Cooling Up to 150-200 Degree Centigrade @50-60 Degree Centigrade per


Hour.

5. Remove It From The Furnace And Cool Further To Room Temperature & Stress
Relieving IS-16355-1993 Wherever Welding Done.
