What is a kernel sentence?


● It can be expanded through the use of words, phrases, clauses or other expressions.
● Does not contain any optional expression.
● It is simple in the sense that it is unmarked in mood.
● It is indicative.
● It is also unmarked in voice
● A kernel sentence is affirmative.
Three Main Features:
- Simple
- Active
- Declarative

3. Text messaging in mobile phones, according to some studies and researches, makes many people
poor in spelling English words.
4. Proper guidance from the parents and guardians of the students in the use of these modern
gadgets is indeed a must especially in our country.
5. If we learn to be responsible in using these technologies, we will definitely benefit from it.
