11 Lubrication System

The lube oil system supplies lubricating oil to bearings to minimize friction and remove heat. It uses three pumps - a main pump, auxiliary pump, and emergency pump. If the main or auxiliary pumps fail, the emergency pump activates to shut down the gas turbine safely. An oil vapor extractor and vacuum system prevent oil leaks from bearings.
