Lesson Plan English 2019

III. Procedure
a. Drill : Reading sentences.
1.. The Philippines is on the road to recovery.
2. A million people were pushed deeper into poverty.
3. The government is expected to build more than 200,000 houses for the poor.
4. It is important to assist the survivors in rebuilding their lives.
b. Review:
Identify the preposition in each sentence.
1. My friend has more than twenty kinds of ribbons for her hair.
2. I don’t want to argue with you.
3. Garduce climbed the mountain without fear.
4. The cat is hiding under the table.
5. I have been searching for a good poem.

c. Motivation :
Showing pictures

d. Presentation:
Group A will create sentences out of the given picture and will write in a
sheet of cartolina .
Group B will read sentences indicated in the picture.
e. Discussion : Asking questions
f. Developmental Skills :
Write a sentence out the given picture.

g. Generalization
What is a preposition?
What is a prepositional phrase?
Preposition- is a word that shows relationship between other words in a sentence.
It links nouns, pronouns and phrases to other words in a sentence.
Prepositional Phrases – are groups of words containing preposition.
h. Application : Group Activity: Each group will compose a sentence about the given
picture.

IV. Evaluation
a. Compose 5 sentences using prepositions/ prepositional phrases out of
this picture.

b. Use each preposition in a sentence.
