RESPOSIBILITIES: Quality & Food Safety/ R&D Activities/ Process Excellence:
• Planning, coordinating and leading project quality activities to comply with product quality and
food safety at design, process and distribution stage in Innovation/Expansions and New product
Developments.
• Identifying key product and process characteristics during design phase and developing
methodology for verification and controls in processes.
• Analyzing food safety and quality data and preparing trial reports (including consumer feedback
and complaints, ingredients, finished products, products & processes specifications) and
communicating with stakeholders before setting up commercial operations.
• Ensuring product specifications, product quality standards and tolerance, food safety controls
programs like HACCP, GMP's, sanitations, food defense, pest control, continuous improvement
program are in place before commercial production of new products.
• Developing analytical methods, validation and verification of QA test methods to proactively
identify and execute process optimization & improvement.
• Conducting the Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) audits for the suppliers/ manufacturing facilities to
meet company's standards and also benchmarking their capability as per the internal guidelines.
