INTRODUCTION

The main issues of the case study are the impact of social media towards the company
performance. The growth in social media implies that a company that does not reach its
customers and prospects on any social media platform is rare. Companies have the
responsibility to understand the needs of engagement towards consumer through social media
and generate revenues. Companies have recognized that they can utilize social media to gain
insights, boost demands and create specific products. In conventional traditional street-side
business and of course e-commerce business, these tasks are important. The social media can
give many impacts towards the company performance such as brand recognition, global
reach, and brand loyalty.

The next main issues of the case study are the benefits of social media used by
company towards consumer. Social media is becoming an integral aspect of every marketing
strategy, and the advantages of doing so are so tremendous that anyone who does not take
advantage of this low-cost resource is missing out on a fantastic marketing opportunity.
Social media marketing is a critical component of marketing success, and many marketers
recognise the platform's potential for business growth. These are the benefits of social media

media used by company. Even if the company have not improved their social media presence
yet, there's still time, and the advantages will be well worth their time. There are numerous
benefits to cultivating their brand on social media, including improved consumer service, the
ability to communicate with consumer and prospects on a new level, the ability to engage and
reach new consumer, the ability to build authority, and the ability to drive traffic to their
website. In short, a strong social media strategy can help they expand by cultivating long-
term relationships with consumers and prospects.

As we all know for today, many people may use social media to keep up and engage
with family and friends, while others will use this to contact with other communities.
The phrase "social media" refers to websites and application focused on
communication, input from the community, engagement, content sharing and partnership.
There are many types of social media that we use in our daily life such as forums,
microblogging, social networking, social bookmarking, social cure, and wikis for many
purposes use. Many people may use social media to keep up and engage with family and
friends, while others will use this to contact with other communities. Many companies are
using social media as a marketing and promotional means. Moreover, consumer business
sites (B2C) incorporate social components, for example user comment areas. Additional
methods to help track the number of mention and brand impression have been developed. The
use of mobile apps, with several example social media like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn,
made social networking more widely and more accessible. As we all can see today social
media is one of the platforms for all company or seller to sell their product towards
consumer.
