70R Loading, Live Load

This document summarizes the design of an IRC Class 70R load for a wheeled vehicle with an L-type loading. It considers two loading cases: 1) Keeping the first heaviest axle at the centre panel. The maximum bending moment along the short span is 25.72 kNm and along the long span is 29.516 kNm. 2) Keeping the first and second heaviest axles symmetrical about the center of the panel. The maximum bending moment along the short span is 45.037 kNm and along the long span is 29.516 kNm. The slab section is designed as singly reinforced with main bars and secondary bars. Reinforcement is provided to resist bending moments
