All plumbing must conform to local codes. Inspect the unit

The following considerations must be taken into account
when selecting the location for the water conditioning

Note: It is recommended that the battery be replaced every
year or after any extended power outage.
To install a battery:
1. Remove the control valve cover.
2. The battery pocket is located in the upper left corner of
the control.
3. The battery connector has special snaps which allow the
battery to be installed properly. Press the new battery
firmly into the snaps.
4. Place the battery into the pocket.
5. Replace the control valve cover.
