Sub:- Damage of 6 Quad Cable in between Usargaon –Kalpi section .
Ref- 1. Construction of 4 lane ROB on railway portion in lieu of L-Xing no. 194 at Km
1269/1-2 (hamirpur –kalpi road) on JHANSI-KANPUR section under Dy CE/C/CNB of
NCR.
2. Your letter no JHS/N/120/TL/6QUAD of dt 14.04.2021
In connection with above it is clarifythat
1. The distance of the 6 quad cable was found 19 mtrs from track centre.
2. There was no cable route marker was provided.
3. The contractors labour was excavating trial pit near the NH side pier location
and due to unexpected location ( neither near the toe nor near the boundary ) of
cable and absence of cable route marker it could not be predictable that cable may
be laying there and accidently cable has been damage by gainti.
3. It is clear that it was an incident not deliberately or negligence act by the
contractor ,hence the penalty can not imposed to the contractor.

Ref- 1. Construction of 4 lane ROB on railway portion in lieu of L-Xing no. 194 at Km
1269/1-2 (hamirpur –kalpi road) on JHANSI-KANPUR section under Dy CE/C/CNB of
NCR.
2. Acceptance letter no CNB20202102of dt 11.02.2021
In connection with above the contractor has submitted the Design mix of grade M 35 of
rob 544 (under Dy CE/C/II/AGC construction).it has proposed that the above design mix
maykindly approved forcasting of test piles of ROB194(photo copy of design mix approval note
is enclosed).
