MODALITIES OF LEARNING (Approaches to Learning)
Face-to-Face Learning
Proposed to happen twice a week for each batch of students. Each batch shall observe social distancing. No group activities will
happen and wearing of face masks for teachers and students will be strictly observed. Class schedules shall be adjusted to ensure that
number of students on each batch will be limited.
PROPOSAL 1: In addition, face-to-face classes shall only be done half day for each batch. This is to reduce the number of students within
the school premises doing activities and taking recess. Lunch breaks for students will also be avoided since the morning batch will end
before lunch time and the afternoon batch will start after lunch time.
PROPOSAL 2: Face-to-face classes shall be done for two days for each batch. The first batch will hold Face-to-face classes from Monday
to Tuesday while the second batch shall accomplish their modular lessons on these days. The second batch will have Wednesday and
Thursday as class schedule while the first batch shall have their modules accomplished. Friday shall serve as modular learning and online
consultation for students to their teachers. Friday shall also serve as checking of submitted modules and IMs preparation for teachers.
For monitoring purposes, parents shall be directly involved on the attendance of their students. Parents will be encouraged to monitor
the attendance of their parents before, during and after their classes. This is to ensure no students shall cut classes and shall go home
immediately after their face-to-face lessons.
Modular Learning
Proposed to be done by the students for the remainder of the week. Modules (hard soft copies) will be given to students after the
Face-to-face sessions with their teachers. Parents shall directly supervise their children in answering their modules at home.
Online Learning
This shall be done for self-paced learning and shall not be imposed to students. Online learning will serve as supplementary activity
for
students to further learn competencies on each subject.
