What I Need to Know
This module covers the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of learners required in
using Audio-Video Conferencing tools and E-group. The focus of this module could be
used in many different learnings in using Audio, Video Conferencing Tools, and E-group
and will help you understand the importance of communicating using them. The
language used in this module recognizes the diverse vocabulary in the field of garment
production. The lessons are arranged according to the standard sequence directed to the
achievement of two or more learning outcomes, as shown below.

Google Hangouts is a unified communications service that
allows members to initiate and participate in text, voice, or video
chats, either one-on-one or in a group.
Skype, Google Meet, and Google Zoom enable the users to speak to other
users free of charge or pay a fee to make calls to landlines using the computer.
Facebook, Hangouts, and Messenger enable the users to share information,
photos, and videos with the other users.
For this activity, you need the guidance of your teacher/parent. This time
you will be the one to set-up an audio-video conference with your classmates.
Step 1: Go to www.hangouts.google.com or

can download the apps or open Hangouts
in Gmail if you have already the app.
Step 2: Sign in using the account your teacher will give you.

Directions: Form groups of 5 (five) members each and do the task below.
Brainstorm on a specific topic of interest. Plan an Audio-Video Conference on
this topic with every member participating, or you can make your brainstorming in
the form of Audio-Video Conferencing. Make sure that every member has a
smartphone or laptop/desktop with an internet connection or mobile data and
other requirements needed in Audio-Video Conferencing and someone to record
what happens during the Audio-Video Conference so this can be presented in class
or you may send your recorded Audio-video conference in the class group.

Additional Activities
Directions: Form a group with 5 members. Each group will form an E-group (ex. Messenger
group chat, Facebook group). The groups will schedule the activities they will
undertake for 5 days (Mondays- Fridays). Share photos, videos, files, or chat
with other members. Your teacher will be a member of all groups. This will help
him/her monitor the discussion topics chosen by the group. Make a report
about the E-group after five (5) days and present it to the class or you may send
your recorded Audio-Video Conference in the class group.
