    Dear sir or madam,

    I am writing to express my keen interest in the Post advertised for Deputy Principal within your Ministry
    for it has always been my ambition to share my knowledge and experience with fellow educators and
    students of varying cultural background and ethnicity.

    Professionally I am a Trained Teacher from the Cyril Potter College of Education. Thereafter, I pursued
    and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education at the University of Guyana, graduating in
    2007.

    As a dedicated school teacher who rose to the rank of School Head-teacher. I possess within me the
    requisite motivation to work within your education system which will add much-needed theoretical
    knowledge and skills as a manager and team-player of a school system. Given my past and current job
    portfolios, plus with youth in my favor and a lucid intellect, I believe that there is no better time to
    continue my teaching career in Administrative education, considering the structure, content and respect
    for the Post as Deputy Principal at (Small School).

    Having worked for many years in the interior regions of Guyana and presently at an English school in
    neighboring Suriname. Your Ministry will benefit greatly from my dedication to students across varying
    educational levels, social, cultural and economic backgrounds.

    For your information and guidance, for six years, I served as the first Graduated Head teacher at the Port
    Kaituma Secondary School (2010 – 2016). In addition, prior to that, I taught at the Sophia Special School
    for students with educational needs for eight years as an Assistant Mistress and Senior Mistress and at
    the Saint Winifreds Secondary school for two years as a Graduate Senior Mistress (2008-2010).

    Thus, I know if awarded this position I would better be able to serve your country in building a stronger
    educational system, further dedicating my time, energies and knowledge towards the development and
    enhancing of better visions and programs for countless youths, including the underprivileged in much-
    overlooked locations and communities.
