MATHEMATICS PROJECT WORK


CLASS X (A +B)
SESSION 2021-22
Instructions for preparing project file
 Candidates will be expected to have completed 4 projects, project question 1
and 2 are compulsory. And do any two project from the remaining three
projects Q 3,Q 4 and Q 5
 The project file should be well covered and written very neatly and cleanly.
 File should having : Name of the school, Logo of school, Heading as
Mathematics project on Top, Session 2021-22, Name of student and teacher
 It should contain Index, page number, Acknowledgement, bibliography and
conclusion.
 Draw figures wherever required using proper geometrical instruments.
 Also use colour papers to pie chart and graph papers and colour sketch
 There will be the internal assessment based on the projects for board
examination.
List of suggested assignments for Project Work:

 Question1: write the biography of any three mathematicians and their contribution
for mathematics. Also paste good images of mathematician .For every
mathematician use maximum 3 to 4 file pages only.
 Question 2 Comparative study of newspaper for one week taking different type of
news like international news, national news, sports news, business news
,miscellaneous news other news etc)
 Question 3 Survey of various type of bank accounts ,rate of interests, what is
banking, and also write about passbook ,A.T.M. ,credit card, debit card ,cheque
book, pay in slip, loan ,
 Question 4 Planning a home budget.
 Question 5 (i) Draw a tangent to a circle from an external point
 (ii) Find the centre of a circle using a 30-60 set square

Note: take help from internet and some old file sample pages send by school to you
