1. INTRODUCTION:
This unit covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes on selecting and installing wiring devices, installing lighting fixtures/switches and notifying completion of work
of floor and wall mounted outlets and auxiliary outlets.

2. LEARNING ACTIVITIES
2. Determine materials specification
3. Identify types and usage of electrical wiring devices and consumable items
4. Interpret electrical drawing and wiring diagram.
5. Describe function of every devices used in the line/job requirements
6. Check and quantify the item needed in the job requirement.
7. Check the required rating based on its specification in accordance with standard.
8. Read and familiarize:
o Setting of lay-out and dimension of electrical drawing or wiring diagram.
o Materials specification as per job requirements.
o Proper installation of wiring devices.
o Good housekeeping.
9. Apply methods and techniques in installation of various type of wiring devices
10. Practice proper handling of materials, tools and equipment
11. Perform the installation economically.
