• We are partnering with progressive schools to offer both online and onsite programming
courses for students of grade 2-10
• Our camps mainly cover two tracks: Digital Art and Design, and Coding.
• Students can go through a series of multi-week courses offered by Orbit to learn the basic
programming constructs in Scratch to coding in Python.
Learn the building blocks of STEM in one of our most popular programs!
Campers will explore Digital Animation, and Coding Fundamentals in
Scratch. Campers will learn navigating and creating through Scratch.
They will also build the foundations for success with technology: the
inspiration, confidence, and enthusiasm to continue learning and creating.
This program has more than enough content to keep campers excited and
learning for several weeks. Combine this camp with our Tech & Design
Exploration: Creators-2 camp to further expand your STEM knowledge.
Prerequisites: None
Available: Online, On-Campus, 1-1
Time Requirements: 8 hours spread over 4 weeks (customizable)

For kids entering grades 5-10
For students looking to learn the basics of coding, this is a perfect place to start.
We will experiment with Video Game Design, and Coding/Programming
Fundamentals in Scratch. Campers will create several small to medium-sized
projects, such as designing a variety of playable video games.
Campers build the foundations for success with technology: the inspiration,
confidence, and enthusiasm to continue learning and creating! This program has
more than enough content to keep campers excited and learning for up to three
weeks and is an ideal way to start the coding jam as a lead into some of our
more focused programs for middle and high school campers.

One of our most popular programs, Python 101 is perfect for kids interested in
exploring all of Python’s capabilities. Campers will navigate the text-based
programming in IDLE, Python’s integrated development environment, and learn
to write key building blocks of code, such as variables, conditionals, and loops.
They will then combine these elements to create video games to take home.
More advanced students will tackle more complicated challenges including file
I/O, arrays, and functions.
