1.

What is your greatest contributions to your co-teachers as school head/teacher

in terms of professional ethics?
- Being cooperative to my colleagues/ co- teachers is one of my greatest contribution as a
teacher. Collaboration and open communication with my co-teachers provide a safe
environment in the school that gives a rich learning experience to both my co-teachers and
learners. As a teacher associated with the institution, it is important to adhere to the guidelines
set by administrators. I always bear in mind to follow expected rules. In case of disagreement
with a colleague over any trivial issue or a topic, I used to sort out our differences in private. I
also do not speak negatively with my colleagues and maintain appropriate relationships with
them. In addition to this, I used to keep personal and professional life different and abstain from
indulging in any unaccepted behaviors in school.

2. How do you foster and manage healthy and harmonious relationship between
and among colleagues, superior, subordinate in the workplace. Cite specific
instance when you practice it. What is the impact to the workplace?

- To develop a strong harmonious relationship between and among colleagues,

superior and subordinates in my workplace, I used to be a good listener. listening in a way
that I am fully aware and concentrate on what is being said rather than passively hearing what
my colleague/co-teacher is trying to convey. One specific example is verifying all the acquired
information and situations before responding to my colleague when given varied situations. It is
the conscious decision to listen carefully and understand what they are trying to convey without
being judgmental. Having said that, the impact towards my workplace will result to a developed
culture of mutual trust and understanding since proper and appropriate feedbacks will be given
and it is an important aspect for a healthy workplace because views and ideas of everyone are
always considered in decision making which will lead to an internal solid communication.

3. As educator, how would you ensure the effective delivery of basic services to
your clientele, both internal and external? Cite your actual experiences how you
did it.
- To ensure effective delivery of basic services to our clientele in school both internal (parents,
students, school head) and external (parents, NGO,LGU), having an open or two way
communication should be established. It allows all sides to understand the other’s needs and
goals. It provides the clientele with an understanding of the teacher’s expectations, while
providing them with important knowledge about the common goals of the school. Parents,
Teachers and other stakeholder’s conferences can help promote positive outcomes in the
school. As of my personal experience as a teacher, I used to conduct it every quarter to discuss
matters that affect the learning environment, students’ behavior, social development and
students’ strengths and challenges. Feedbacks and opinions of teachers, parents and other
stakeholders are also welcome and being noted and taken into consideration in the decision
making. As a result, a strong vested interest in the success of the schools is produced and
actively engaged all members (both internal and external) in identifying and fulfilling the mission
and vision of the school.

4. What do you consider are the most important character traits that a teacher
must possess? Why? Cite your actual experiences portraying such character
traits and what is the impact to your school and community?
- The first important character trait of a teacher is the respect that she/ he give to the
learners and colleagues. Each person’s ideas and opinions are valued. Leaners and co-
teachers feel safe to express their feelings and learn to respect and listen. Being
respectful creates a welcoming learning environment for all learners and mutual trust
among colleagues/co teachers. One actual experience that shows respect to my learners,
parents and colleagues is accepting whatever decisions that they made. We may not have
the same principle or opinions but it is important to look for the common interest or
grounds especially for the benefit or enrichment to support learning in school.
Another important trait is creating a sense of community and belongingness in the
school to all members of the organization (school head, teachers, parents and learners) The
shared trust and deference provide a supportive and collaborative environment. An
example in creating sense of belongingness is being aware that there are rules to follow
and works to be done as part of school organization and also mindful that he or she is an
important, integral part of the group. That each member can depend from each other. As
a result, all members develop a greater appreciation for the important role they play in school.
