1. Respecting Students
Teacher serves as second parent for the students, they need to show respects to
their students. Respecting students means treating them with special attention and
showing consideration towards them. Teacher should give high appreciation to his or
her students, being concern about them not only during lass hours, admiring their skills
and caring for them. Respect inside and outside of the classroom cultivates positive
outlook to the students.
2. Keeping Control of your emotions
Our emotions drive our personal behaviors. As Teacher, we must possess high
skills in controlling our emotions. We must equip our self the ability to manage our
emotion so we can make good decision and perform good judgement. It can be difficult
to control your emotions, especially when you feel strongly about a certain issue. But
emotions can cause us to say things that we don’t mean, hurt someone’s feelings or
offend someone, even if we don’t mean to do so. Failing to control your emotions in the
workplace can have serious consequences, including losing your job. Controlling your
emotions is not only a good practice for your professional well-being, but also for your
social life. If you can control your emotions, you can avoid making people upset with
unpredictable emotional reactions.
3. Maintaining A Calm Voice
When there a conflict or misbehavior inside the classroom teacher should
respond calmly. The teacher’s tone of voice is a powerful instrument. It sets the tone
and environment for the entire classroom in terms of engagement, behavior, and
rapport with students. Teacher should be calm, Calmness alone, without having to say a
word, has a powerful effect on student.
4. Eye Contact
The use of nonverbal communication like eye contact inside the classroom promotes
positive behavior and skills. It is one of the utmost effective tools in classroom teaching.
By eye contact effectively in the classroom a teacher gets maximum reimbursements
regarding teaching. By using this technique not only a teacher improves the
performance also they can discipline and remove the disruptive behavior of the
students. This technique can cause powerful feelings of relationships in between
teacher and students. Eye contact is essential because real meaning behind those
words is to be conveyed effectively. In teaching learning process discipline play a very
imperative role but teachers often complain about discipline and lack of attention, this
problem can be removed by using eye contact effectively. The eye contact is the
powerful tool for both the teacher and the learner, in non-verbal communication one
