Vibraphone
The Soloist Series Vibraphone features our patented
Apex Frame System with effortless height
adjustability and well balanced construction. End
pieces and rails are covered with strong Black Tolex.
The Soloist model has graduated bars from 50 mm till
38 mm, with a range of E3-F6. This 3.1 extended low
range will allow you to easily play with other
musicians in a combo, and the instrument and frame
easily break down for convenient portability.

Keyboard
Adams exclusive Aluminum alloy is available in matte
finished gold and silver anodized bars. With the new
Alpha tuning, the Vibraphone’s beautiful, balanced tone
projects fully, clearly, and evenly throughout the range of
the instrument.
With or without motor

The instrument is available with or without a 12 volt
motor, runs safely on 110 or 220 volt power with the
special converting power adaptor, totally eliminating the
possibility of any electrical hazard. The clean and
dependable mounted controls allow the player to choose
whether the fans stop in either the open or closed
position. The motor speed is fully adjustable from 40 to
140 rpm with an intuitive fader control. This optional
newly designed, quiet operation belt drive motor is
controlled by a panel conveniently located on the rail
closest to the player.
Dampening system
A foot operated precision dampening mechanism allows
both damper, and rail height adjustments, allowing each
player to custom configure the feel of the instrument to
their exact playing style. The damper also utilizes a new
supreme quality felt material to achieve truly silent
damping. An optional Long Pedal Extension Accessory
converts the swivel pedal to a full length pedal board.
Frame
There are two frame types available for the Adams Solist
Series Vibraphones.
Adams Solist Series Vibraphone end caps and rails are
finished in a durable Black Tolex vinyl covering that has a
classic look on stage or from the field. Our Patented
Apex height adjustment system is an elegant design that
allows for quick, precise adjustments. No other
vibraphone on the market is as easy to transport as the
Adams vibraphone.
Apex Frame
The Adams Apex mallet frame is designed to provide the
best possible sound, to deliver a frictionless experience,
and to surprise with astonishing and modern looks, the
Adams Apex frame reaches a new peak in design. Apex
replaces the Voyager and Traveller frames.
Structural rigidity is the most important part of the Apex
design. The position of the high-strength central crossbar
creates a very low center of gravity for peerless ease of
motion and the ultimate in stability. Combined with
reinforced crossbar connections, the strength and
support of the Apex side pillars provide less frame-noise
than any other frame available.
The time tested Adams height adjustment mechanism is
the most intuitive, simple, and strongest system in the
market, and has been transformed in an improved
design for the Apex frame. With its unique side pillars
and improved crossbar connections, the Apex frame is
quick to assemble and easy to transport.
Endurance Field Frame
The Endurance Field Frame was designed for maximum
strength and durability, allowing you to transport your
vibraphone over grass, turf, parking lots, or anywhere
your marching band might venture to take it. Its
extremely large, easy rolling locking wheels, and
precision height adjustability, make it easily the most
durable, best designed frame system on the market
today. A full length accessory rail on the frame provides a
great place to clamp cymbals, bells, and even drums,
adding a wider range of sounds and greater flexibility to
your percussion performance.
