Don't be a pseudo worker

Pseudo worker means working in a distracted environment. Or shallow work . Pseudo work
means working in long low intensity marathons of pain.

1 Drink water constantly between period of 45 minutes or an hour

2.Monitor your caffeine intake carefully


Don't drink coffee frequently. Coke and coffee increase concentration but roo much is also
harmful. So if you wan to drink then drink coffee then tea then water.

Treat food as a source of energy not satisfaction. Eat lean protein whole grain or peanut but
don't eat refined carbohydrates such as chocolate or sugar.

Build routines
Make specific time when you will read specific subjects like Monday morning science Tuesday
morning maths so that in less willpower you could study more.

Choose your hard days


Plan your hard days in advance so that you won't be worried like plan Tuesday is your hard day
then do work from Sunday so that you could finish work by time. Hard days means days in
which you have a lot of work should be pre planned.

Choose when how and where to work


When: when your concentration level is at peak and nobody is distracting you.

Where: In isolation. Take a book with you. Whenever you will be free read the book
How:By taking breaks every 40 45 minutes or an hour.

Note taking for non technical courses


Take smart notes
Choose the right material.
Format your notes aggressively like making short forms of especially to esp anything like that.
Make notes by question/evidence/conclusion format
In discussion just write which you think is useful and if anybody mistake then ignore it and when
teachers say something write and underline that thing.

Note taking for technical courses


Write your notes but don't take much time to read them you could keep them handy. So that in
your free time you could read them.

Prioritize your note taking


First priority:Record the problem statement and answer.
Second priority:Question the confusing. In technical courses like maths science economics or
engineering you should ask most of the questions but if you don't want to ask where you
confused just underline circle or make question marks bear that question. But remember that
the most questions which will get answered in class you will have less work.

Solve problems on the go


Set a little time to be familiarize to your problems . Then try to solve the problem in the most
easiest way possible. If you have find the hard thing in that problem then think about it in other
activities like when taking a shower or when at a line in the dining hall.

Write right solutions for the first time which


Many students write assignments with dirty handwriting and then write it clearly. You should not
do that.

Step 3: Marshal your resources


Build a study guide in which you will print everything which are in your notes and organize them.
In technical courses you would likely to add some questions of your own in your notes
Prepare memorization aids
Use flash cards and write question on the one side and answers on the other side.
Don't just read also reproduce by writing in a sheet of paper. For non technical courses you
could write all the questions and say it not in you head but if possible say it loud. If a entire class
is spent only on one question then break down into several questions and then answer.

Type or write questions which you think are important from notes and try to give its answer.If you
are confused on a question then underline or check Mark it. After finishing other questions go to
that question and see it's answer. You would have lots of confusing questions. So read them all
but in the second round don't read all just read which you were confused. Up to when there are
no check marks

Ask questions during class
Develop the habit of talking to your teacher briefly after class
Ask classmate
Come prepared to exam review sessions where you discuss about some problems(If possible)

Step 6: Give A+ answers


Strategy 1: Review first answer questions later
When you get the paper first see what types of questions are there and then start to write.
Strategy 2:Decide up to when you could finish a question. So decide a time budget

Strategy 3: Go from easy to hard.

Strategy 4:Outline essays


Make some points which you will write in the essay. But that should not be very long about 3 to
5 lines then start essay.

Strategy 5: Check your work


Though you have some time left after you have completed the paper, you should check and
recheck to the time when the exam is over.
