Selectrode: High Deposition 316L Stainless Steel International Classifications

This document provides information on Selectrode 1167, a 316L stainless steel electrode for welding and cladding stainless steels. It lists international classifications and features, including that it is a fully synthetic 316 stainless steel electrode that enables very high speed weld deposition. Mechanical properties of the undiluted weld metal are also specified, showing tensile strength up to 107,000 PSI. Instructions are given for welding with DC reverse or AC current in the flat, horizontal, or vertical up positions.

FEATURES & APPLICATIONS

For welding and cladding stabilized and unstabilized stainless steels to themselves and to
carbon steels.

Fully synthetic 316 stainless high performance joining and cladding electrode
• A true non-overheating 316 stainless steel electrode.
• Very high speed weld deposition compares with MIG welding.
• Self releasing slag - eye appealing welds.
