Purpose of the job

• Execute long & short term tasks as directed by Process engineering manager to improve
industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce rejects, improve sustainability
and maximize profitability.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.


• Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures.
• Assembles reports to document process status and changes.
• Work with multi-functional team to achieve project goals
• Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.
• Communicates findings and proposals to reporting process engineering manager.
• Utilizes process simulation tools to test and find the most appropriate production
strategies.
• Prepare thorough strategies for successful implementation of process changes.
• Conducts manufacturing process risk assessments.
• Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
• Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Required Profile

• Skill Requirements:

o Excellent analytical and math skills.

o Proficient with computer systems and information technology.
o Knowledge of process engineering software systems.
• Educational Qualification Requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science and engineering.
o Previous experience in production / manufacturing environment of chemical,
agrochemical, automotive or pharmaceutical industry.
o Process control experience in the chemical and/or automotive industries is preferred
