Course Synopsis: Laboratory works on amplitude modulation, frequency


modulation, pulse code modulation, digital multiplexing, digital
carrier system.

Course Objectives: The objectives of this course are to:


1. Demonstrate Analog and digital communication system
through experimental set up
2. Know the internal circuits and components of Modulator
and demodulator
3. Perform modulation and demodulation of analog and digital
signals using those components
4. Develop analytical skill of analyzing various wave shapes
observed in different experiments.

Special Instructions:
 There is no mark for class attendance. However, there is mark for lab performance which
necessitates presence in each lab.
 Students must come to the Lab after reading the corresponding Lab sheet
 During each Lab class they must submit the Lab report of the Lab completed in previous week
 No plagiarism would be allowed in lab reports. Cases of copying one another in lab reports
would be dealt seriously.
 There will be no make-up lab quiz and make up lab viva.
 In case of internet connection or network problems suffered by few students in online semester,
necessary measure would be considered in favor of the students.
