Lesson 1:
Activity 1:
1. Studying the readiness checklist for learners, teachers and parents profile.
Thoughts: This checklist identifies the need of the learners, teachers and parents. It identifies
the action to be taken if in case the result of the checklist is not good.

This checklist will allow you to look into factors that might affect the implementation of your
LDM. More importantly, it should inform your interventions to make them more targeted.

ACTION PLAN/INTERVENTION
For the items that you have checked PARTIALLY or NO, indicate the action steps that you will
take to improve the readiness of your learners, teachers and parents.

is conducive.
Activity 2:
On Learners’ Readiness-they are still on the process of adaptation since the new normal in
education is highly different to that of the usual type of learning. Most of them are still partially
ready.
On teachers’ Readiness-Teachers tend to be more dynamic and pliant like a bamboo because of
the call of the education. Education is a continuous process of learning so it is imperative for
them to deliver education to the learners even during this high risk of pandemic. Education must
recover and that teachers should always be there to help rebuilding, reshaping and reviving the
hope of every Filipino citizen. And yes, teachers are always ready.
On Parents’ Readiness-Parents have doubts on what will going to happen about the education
of their children this time. Most of them are partially ready. There are lots of reasons behind
their decision and nobody can question that.
Activity 1:
The modalities being presented in the video is very much applicable in the urban areas. Since
the Online digital form of learning is only good for those who have access in internet, we cannot say that
the implementation of this modality is effective. Considering the network, signal of the internet
connection in our country, this modality seems to favor only those who can afford. Other modalities
being presented is also good. But, we have again to consider the ability of the learners, the availability of
learning resources and of course, the guidance of the parents or guardians. Another thing to consider is
the time constraint to working parents, their educational attainment, and the family status that they
have.
ACTIVITY 2:
1.Distance learning will be the best modality to be implemented in our school. I have chosen this model
because of the following reasons:
a. Safety should always be the priority.
b. We can improve the curriculum
c. Establish close family ties
d. Collaboration of teacher and parent will be attained.

The paradigm shows the role of the teachers in implementing the Distance Learning. The small
arrows pointing the parent/guardian above shows that the teacher and parent/guardian collaborate to
guide the learner upon studying the modules. Parents/guardians should also report to the teacher the
activities taken by the learners. The overlapping diagram shows the guidance of parents/guardians to
the learners. The arrows below show the relationship of the teacher and the learners which means that
the teacher should track the development/progress of the learners. Monitoring and evaluation should
also be given to the learners.
Activity 1
1.Thoughts on the implementation model.
For me, the model I drafted is effective because of the collaboration of parents and teachers.
The only problem that I can see is the study habit of the learners at home. Still, I prefer to have the face
to face learning to have quality education. But during this pandemic, education must continue so it is
about time for the parents and guardians to take part on developing their children to become a good
Filipino citizen. Through this form of learning, closer family ties will be established. Harmonious
relationship between teachers and parents will also be attained.

The four parts of the Implementation plan foresees the success of the learning modality chosen.
The learners, the teachers, the resources, the risk and communication should be given high priority all
the time.
ACTIVITY 2:
On Learning Resources-Inventory should be observed always so that all the learners will have an
access to the materials.
Part II
On Teachers Continuing Professional Development-teachers should also upgrade themselves
when it comes to the implementation of the new learning modality. So as not to be left behind by the
new normal, they should also attend webinars or subscribe to professional webs which cites their role as
teachers in developing the learners during this time.
Part III
On Risk Management-Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of the school organization is a
must. In this case, I will be able to mitigate plan or draft solutions if there are problems that may arise
during the implementation of the program.
Part IV
On Communication Plan in the Implementation of LMD-building a strong and firm relationship
among the learners, parents, teachers and stakeholders is really the key to make sure that the
implementation of the learning modality chose is successful.
3.LAC Session 9 will be on July 31, 2020 @ 9:00-12:00 am via google meet.
