    WordPad

    WordPad is a rich text editing programs you can use to create & edit documents. Unlike notepad,
    WordPad document can include rich text format & graphic & you can link to embed objects such
    as picture or other documents. WordPad is a 32 bit application.
     File extensions - .rtf ( Rich Text Format)
     To open Wordpad-
     Start button > all programs > accessories > WordPad.
     Run command > type ‘Wordpad’ or ‘write’.

    windows 7 all menu will change in tab like Home and View.
     Ribbon:- Ribbon contains the tab and many Group.
     Group:- Group contains various option or button that is helpful for creating document.
     Quick access toolbar:- It provides feature to work in wordpad quickly related to that
    icon. By default in the wordpad undo, save, redo button are available.

    Font group in Wordpad: -

     Bold-Ctrl+B
     Italic - Ctrl+I
     Underline – ctrl+U
     Grow Font – Ctrl + shift + >
     Shrink Font – Ctrl + shift + <
     Superscript – Ctrl + shift + = (X2)
     Sub script - Ctrl + = (H2O)
     Strikethrough- Alt+H, then press X
    Text Alignment: -
     Left alignment – {ctrl+L}
     Right Alignment – {ctrl+R}
     Center Alignment – {ctrl+E}
     Justify Alignment – {ctrl+J}

    Start A list:- You can use this option to insert serial numbers and other characters while starting a
    list.
    Insert:- This option is used to insert various objects such as Picture, Paint Drawing, Data & Time
    and other objects such as equation, excel worksheet etc.
    Example: To insert an equation in WordPad-
     Go to Insert Group in Home menu
     Click on Insert Object
     Select Microsoft Equation 3.0
     Now you can create your equation from here
     After creating equation just close the equation editor window.

    Printing a Document:
     Go to File Menu > Click on Print option or Press Ctrl+P
     Select the printer connected with your PC
     Set Number of copies to print
     Then, Click on Print button
    Note: Select the proper page size while printing the document.
