III. Procedure:

A. Preparation

a) Greetings
b) Checking of Attendance
c) Review:
What is a vertical line?
How about horizontal line?
Who can say something about a circumference line?

d. Motivation:
These are several garments being sold in the market.
Did you experience already to buy a ready-to-wear garments?
How do you like the fitting of those ready-to-wear garments?

What can you say about the price?


Well, if you want that your dress will fit to you the best way is
to make your own clothes.

Today, I’m going to show you how to take body measurements so that
you can make your own clothes that will fit to your body.
B. Lesson Proper: Our lesson for today is Body Measurements.
The Body Measurements are:
1. Vertical
2. Horizontal
3. Circumferential
How is vertical measurement taken? Please read Rhea.
Vertical measurement is taken from the top going down.
Who can give an example of a vertical measurements?

 Length of Blouse

Horizontal measurements are taken across the body or taken
from left going to the right.

Circumference measurement is taken around the body.

they have observed.

D. Evaluation:

1. Observe the students if they are following the procedure properly.


2. Supervise the students in taking body measurements.
3. Checking students work.

E. Assignment:
Measure your sister’s and mother’s blouse and bring the
measurements tomorrow.
